I want to start off by saying, I never do this because I have worked in the service and food industry, so I try to be as understanding as possible.

The food is AMAZING! We have always loved coming here. Me and my husband come to eat at least once a week. I bragged on this place to family members, friends, etc. Yesterday, I was eating my usual and found a hair in my food. I was halfway through and it was embedded into my food, so I kindly asked the woman at the register to come over to our table. When I mentioned there was a hair, she said in a very rude tone, “So, what do you want me to do about it?” I was very taken back by this because the service has always been great. I was a little shocked and speechless, so she continued to say “Want it remade or do you want the manager, for a refund?” Still, with the same negative tone. They remade it with ease which I can appreciate. The lady who brought us our food was very nice, asked what the hair looked like so she could talk to the staff to let them know to be more careful.

I’m hesitant to come back but I’m sure we will continue to come here and eat, we love the restaurant. I believe that some need to learn how to handle customer interactions better especially when I was never rude at all.

Way over priced for their tiny portions. Decent at best.

Wife and I had the brisket $20 per plate. Over halve the brisket was nothing but fat. Even the brisket that was eatable didn’t have a very good taste. Couldn’t believe what they charge for a beer. After the tip was over six dollars.

As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed enthusiastically and seated promptly. After placing our order, the server brought out our drinks. A few minutes passed and the meal was served. My husband ordered the pulled pork with slaw and collard greens. I ordered a chopped beef brisket sandwich with seasoned fries. The smoky flavor of the brisket and references of the meat was perfect for my palet. He bragged about the greens and the pulled pork. We ordered a pint of their pickles to take home because someone recommended them. I'm not a big fan of salty and sweet mixed together so next time I'll leave the seasoning of my fries. I prefer them salty. I'll be back for sure so kudos to Count Porkula👍👍

We visited again yesterday to see if the portioning had improved and I found the only thing that has changed is the prices increased, and the brisket portion was unchanged. Also, don't add the fattier portion of brisket to your order. It was 100% fat with zero brisket. The pulled pork is good and the brisket but not $20 for a brisket plate with 3 small cuts of brisket. For 4 people we spent over $120 with 3 beers on the tab - not including tip. You be the judge.

We were visiting family in the area Christmas Eve and our family recomended CountPorkula as really good place to eat. We had the nachos with brisket and sausage with cheese. Unfortunately they were out of sausage so we had the pork with cheese. Both were wonderful. I confessed to the owner I was a Florida girl and dis not grow up eating brisket. So he gave me a taste of texas briskit. Melt in your mouth gooood! Didn't need any thing extra. Just the best meat I ever ate. Thanks for schooling me.

Parking: Late afternoon plenty of parking. Easy to get into and out
