We drove in from fort gibson oklahoma for the weekend and found this place for dinner the first night and was incredibly good! The crab legs were cooked as perfect as you can get. The catfish was good fried and blackened. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, fried or blackened. And the chicken tenders were so tender and juicy! The best all around for food and the service was great too!

Honestly, I wasn't sure about the place from the outside, just another strip mall storefront, but the online reviews were really good, so we went in. The inside has a homey vibe with old family pictures overlooking every booth. The counter for ordering was efficiently laid out and the staff knew their stuff. We ordered the blackened catfish and twisted pickles. The food was out hot in short order. The twisted pickles are fried dills AND fried pepperoncini's (which is a delightful addition!). The blackened catfish was perfect! Many places overcook blackened dishes, making the fish hard and dry. Each piece was tender and moist and seasoned very well. We all had an excellent meal!

The food is fine, if greasy. I do enjoy catfish, chicken, and fries, and their food is great for that.

However, their dinner entrees are too expensive. After tax and tip, I ended up spending over $23 for a small basket of chicken, catfish, and fries plus an iced tea. It felt like I was getting a fast food meal but for sit down restaurant prices.

Their lunch prices are much better though...if you want to eat here, I'd go then. It's too bad it's not convenient for me to come here at lunch.

This is my go to for fried catfish but the past 2 times the catfish wasn't that great it was musy and not fried well. I also love their gumbo but this last visit it was primarily rice and no flavor.

Being from East Texas near the Louisiana border I can say I've definitely had better gumbo and po' boys, but overall it was good. This place was recommended to us by a friend as something as an Arkansas staple, that isn't just another McDonald's during a road trip. If I was a local I'd definitely eat there again.

Great experience at Eat My Catfish in NLR! My server was Amanda and she provided amazing service! The catfish was crispy and flavorful, and the sides were just as good — especially the hush puppies. Everything was fresh and served with a smile. Highly recommend!
