Grampa's Catfish & Seafood

I, B/M, came here from out of town for a business trip. The greeter was super friendly to my fiancé and I, even going so far to get the chair for her. We ordered the catfish, chicken, fried pickles, okra, and hush puppies. Let me tell you something. That food was straight GAS!! If you want some great food for a great price with a great atmosphere, I’ve found the place for you. Don’t let this place flop now.

My husband and I drove all the way from England to eat here. The service was poor, the building is old, it was hot inside. It took 10 minutes for us to get our drinks. The appetizer was not that good. The coleslaw was warm and after waiting 35 minutes and still not getting our food, we went to the front and said we'd pay for the drinks and appetizer and we will leave. The waitress was lazy and slow. Walked by our table a few times when there was an empty basket sitting there and our drinks almost empty. Didn't bother to take the basket or refill drinks. A table behind us was getting cleaned, people sat down and not 10 minutes later got their food and we were still waiting on ours. Never again. What really got me is when the manager or owner...not sure who he was, said something to the waitress and she said something about it being a Saturday night. Im assuming she was saying it was busy. There was literally 10 tables full in the whole place and there was 4 waitresses. Im sorry, but if you think that was busy, you'd never make it somewhere like Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn on a Friday or Saturday night. Maybe waitressing is not for you.

No seasoning on food... Asked for condiments, they said they do not have... No friendly service...

Some of the best catfish and hush puppies in central Arkansas. Catfish is crispy and very tasty. Friendly staff and the restaurant is always clean. Our go to place to eat catfish.

Food was excellent. I got my fried green tomatoes.

The fries, onion rings, and okra were all soggy and bland. After tasting them I was not looking forward to trying the fish. I was very surprised and happy to find out the fish was actually seasoned and cooked well. Even though the fish was good I will not go back because it was already too expensive and esp so to have to throw most of it away.

Have been previously. Food, on average, is great. Although the quality was 2 stars on july 30th. Batter with very little fish. I'm not sure if they were low on fish or why it was such a disappointment. . I was looking forward to eating there again and was very disappointed in the quality this time. It's possibly a one-time disappointment. I value consistency.

Tasty! Delicious onion rings.

Ordered the shrimps tacos side of fries and 2pcs of Catfish filets. One of my tacos had 2 pcs of shrimp. I was so upset. Last time I got this the taco was full of shrimp at least 4 pcs. The fries tasted old. The hush puppies were horrible. Never ever has this happened. I'm so upset it makes no sense. Grampa's is my favorite seafood restaurants so when I get a chance to go I expect the consistency that I'm used to. No matter if I dine in or get it to go.

I love the catfish and tartar sauce that I think they make themselves. Also, my friend Cherry shared some of her fried green tomatoes. Very good!!!

We placed a curbside order approximately an hour before closing. Food was ready on time and promptly brought out. Overall I enjoyed the food and the experience however my fried pickles were over cooked and the food was bland. Minus this everything was fresh and cooked to perfection.

They seriously need to fix the air conditioner. I feel so sorry for their employees. Food was good, but sweating while eating is never fun. Server said it's always been hot for 6 years she has worked there.
