I, B/M, came here from out of town for a business trip. The greeter was super friendly to my fiancé and I, even going so far to get the chair for her. We ordered the catfish, chicken, fried pickles, okra, and hush puppies. Let me tell you something. That food was straight GAS!! If you want some great food for a great price with a great atmosphere, I’ve found the place for you. Don’t let this place flop now.
My husband and I drove all the way from England to eat here. The service was poor, the building is old, it was hot inside. It took 10 minutes for us to get our drinks. The appetizer was not that good. The coleslaw was warm and after waiting 35 minutes and still not getting our food, we went to the front and said we'd pay for the drinks and appetizer and we will leave. The waitress was lazy and slow. Walked by our table a few times when there was an empty basket sitting there...
Have been previously. Food, on average, is great. Although the quality was 2 stars on july 30th. Batter with very little fish. I'm not sure if they were low on fish or why it was such a disappointment. . I was looking forward to eating there again and was very disappointed in the quality this time. It's possibly a one-time disappointment. I value consistency.
