Ordered 3 piece catfish special with fries and coleslaw. Got 2 and 1/4 piece. Owner said he would make right... then never heard from him again. I think it was to placate me from posting. What I received was not worth what I paid. Currently with the state of affairs, I will not b**** about much but I appreciate/value honesty with sales and response.

I’m all for trying new places and supporting local restaurants. First: I did not receive all my sides. You know you are ready to eat and don’t want to go back to get what was left out. By the time you go and come to eat, the food is cold. So that’s a turn off. The fish pieces are small. The bake sweet potatoes are not impressive at all. The fried corn on the cob.??? Oh No! Not impressed with this place!!!

The food has no season at all!! My wife ordered a smoked turkey sandwich and it was absolutely awful!! I had the brisket, I took one bite and threw my whole plate in the trash!! I even gave this place a second chance and they failed miserably. And not to mention they have the nerve to be overpriced. I wish it was option to give less than one star. ??

Because of COVID19 limitations, there is the visual that might confuse someone who often visits Hawgz: The Young's food truck is out front. The staff at the truck can call in your order to the HAWGZ's kitchen if you have not already called for a to-go order. They will bring it to your car when it's ready. The catfish is seasoned to perfection and is priced similar to other area eateries. I have never had French fries that tasted like baked potatoes -- real taters. The amount was generous and they were tasty! I was not a fan of the potato salad because it seemed to be like the ones that you can buy in the tubs. It's not a dealbreaker though. Bottomline: their catfish is probably the best in the area. I seek out great catfish.

Youngs Catfish was delicious. French Fries were to thick and not fully Cooked. I will go back but will try a different side.

Waitress never brought me back my receipt to sign, just returned my card. I thought this was odd. After getting home I checked my balance and was overcharged. I called up there and they remembered me and my order so agreed I was overcharged significantly. After listening to my claim they stated they would have a manager call me back to resolve this issue. I never received a call back or any kind of follow up. Very unprofessional. This was my first and last time supporting this local business.

I've been there 4 or 5 times. They always seemed to be out of something and the service was slow. On 2 of our visits someone at our table got the wrong food. The food wasn't bad and its a cool building but for their prices they should be a little more put together. I love the location and the idea of the restaurant but they need to make a change.

The ladies I there are soooooo nice. They have karaoke on Thursday with a live DJ I will be goin to see how it is. But the food is great.

We really wanted to eat here. Their door says open on Sunday’s from 11-3, google supports the time, but we are standing out here at 11:43am and it’s closed? Call before you decide to come here, they might actually be closed. Unreliable business...
