Please get door dash because I don’t drive but love the meat n the employees are very friendly

Got the September beef special. Steaks were so thin and were not very tasty. Will not do that again.

When walked in I felt like O was a burden to them
When I finally got to the order counter the lady was nice and helpful.

So glad I was told about this place. Everything we purchased has been good quality.

Prices got to high now. Even the packages are too high and got smaller

fresh meat and amazing spicy pimento cheese!! i love buying the burger patties from here. also a very welcoming atmosphere. i’ll have to try their drinks and cooking next time

Extremely Disrespectful Experience .

I’m deeply disappointed by my recent visits to Hoggs Meat Market. What used to feel like a proud, community-based local business has become a place where certain customers are made to feel unwelcome. The owner, an older woman, has shown clear disrespectful behavior that is hard to ignore. Her tone is often rude, her demeanor condescending, and I’ve witnessed her smirk while dismissing or disrespecting when you ask an assistance or a question.

It’s disheartening because many of us continued to support this business out of loyalty to the idea of keeping money in the community ,even as service and meat quality steadily declined. You leave the place feeling discriminated and definitely disrespected.

No one should have to tolerate being treated as lesser because of who they are. It’s more than poor customer service, it’s wrong, and it sends a clear message about who is and isn’t welcome here. A community business should uplift all of its customers, not divide or belittle them.

I won’t be returning, and I sincerely hope others think twice before supporting a business that treats its community with such blatant disrespect. There are other meat markets and local businesses that offer better service, better products, and most importantly respect for all people.

The best selection

Review is for the restaurant area only. I didn't shop in the grocery area. The bar has a hometown welcoming cheers vibe. The people are welcoming and helpful. The alcoholic beverage was of right portion. There for a special event of a bbq whole hog with sides of roll, Baked beans and potato salad. The food was good.

Loved it ppl friendly

The pulled pork sandwich was spectacular. The meat was cooked just right and the buns were buttery yet had just enough crunch.
