I got there at 6:55. Open sign was still lit up. The posted hours showed they were supposed to be open until 8pm. The worker (who was smoking a cigarette inside the shack) said they closed at 7. Forget these guys. Save your stomach and go somewhere sanitary.

Hidden gem. Drove past it for years and finally passed it while starving one day. Definitely be back.

I'd like to rank it higher... however, after going to Texas you just can't. If the Smoky Barbecue flavor is what you're looking for they've got you covered though. They serve their short ribs off of the bone almost pulled. Thought it was a little odd, still tasty though.

The food has taken a very serious turn for the worse. The potatoes salad is store bought, tastes just like the tub you get at the Walmart or kroger deli. Shrimp is just frozen bagged shrimp... pulled pork sandwich was mediocre at betlat and, absolutely no fresh smoked meet before 1pm... and then on top of everything ot is all cooke din old grease. might as well just be a drive up window at kroger... and look at the great portions. That is a space cup of potato salad. L..

Worst BBQ I've ever had in my life had to force myself to eat it tasted like it came out of a break room machine. The meat was cold. The lady at the window was very unfriendly but her attitude matched the food I will give her that! I also watch the lady making my food wasn't even wearing gloves This place needs to be shut down. Will not be back ?

Very mediocre. The coleslaw was bland, just cabbage and dressing. No seasonings or carrots. The fries were crispy with no flavor just tons of salt. The chicken was smoked well but lacked hardly any smoked flavor however it did fall off the bone. Plain white taste less bread slices. The BBQ sauce was very tomato based with little to no seasoning. Taste like fancy ketchup.

The meat was very tender. The baked beans and the meat was heavily salted a big turn off . The potato salad was OK , and bland but thankfully it was not salty.

We stopped at Mick's because we were in the mood for bbq, and it was convenient to the rv park we were staying at. My husband wanted the bbq, and I wanted the fried catfish. Well, they were out of catfish when we got there at 5:30 pm. They were also out of Mac and cheese. My husband wanted ribs, and I got the pulled pork sandwich because that's what the woman working there recommended. The pulled pork sandwich I'd rate 1 star. Super bland meat, and a strange flavor that reminded me of mineral-y well water. The meat didn't taste like it was seasoned at all. I took two bites and threw the rest away. The ribs we'd rate 2 stars. They were slightly better than the pulled pork. They smelled nice and smoky, but again, seemed like they had zero seasoning on them. You absolutely have to have the bbq sauce with them if you want flavor. They were also very overcooked. Ribs really shouldn't fall off the bone as easily as these did. They should be tender but the meat should be attached to the bone. The bones easily slid right out of these ribs. The coleslaw was just ok. It way too finely chopped. It felt mealy. The thing I liked most about the slaw is that it had a LOT of black pepper in it. The fried okra was pretty good, and the apple caramel fried pie was REALLY good. It's worth going to Mick's for the fried pie alone. Skip the bbq. I wish I could have tried the fried catfish because the fried items of our meal were the best part. This is the first time I've had Arkansas bbq, and if it's all like this, the I'll avoid it from now on. It can't hold a candle to Texas bbq.

Let me start by saying that this food is fire! Ray is the chef behind the food! The Mac n cheese is a work of art. There are many other wonderful yummy things that this man can offer all week, too! The little roadside building doesn't offer much as far as seating, but it's packed with a friendly chef and folks filling orders. They stay busy, so make sure you call it in or prepare to wait. The wait is well worth it!
