Found this place by accident. Had the lunch special, kung pao beef, served with fried rice and egg roll. It was delicious! I was surprised by the fresh, sautéed, quartered mushrooms in it, which I don’t prefer, but my mom sure had no problem taking them. I ordered Lo mein on the side, just to try it, and it was tasty, as well. With that side order, we each had another full meal to take home.

They look to be remodeling. Tiny but mighty in food taste and quality. Orange chicken, broccoli and chicken and Mongolian beef. We also had spring rolls, pot stickers and egg rolls. Rice and noodles were excellent. Wait staff was cordial we did have to wait on refill of water they were busy and only one staff so we understood and was patient. It is the best place in the nlr sherwood jacksonvikle cabot area food wise. We found a great new place to enjoy excellent food.

I've eaten here several times. Quiet, big portions, good food, reasonably priced. Cashew chicken is great. Hot tea is too. Nothing super fancy, but if you need a meal that will make you pass out in a food coma, and you don't have much money, Mr. Chengs is it.

I go there 2x a week the women at the cash register have a nasty attitude. I ordered a bowl of shrimp and a chicken sizzling! For$ 8.00 !! I asked her for some wontons to put over my soup she walked off from me and then I asked her this is all the shrimps and me to get in the soup and she took her pinky finger and pointed at my bowl ! She's quick to take your money at the register and collect money from the table but the other gentleman there while he's bringing in and out the orders she's taking all the tips so I will not be leaving her a tip she's rude and disrespectful and whoever on this place they need to address that !! ?the meat is getting less. I will not be sending anyone to that place when I bring a family at 7and co-workers there to eat I will not speak highly of the restaurant just because of one person will make it bad. What's good food but I won't be coming back.?

I keep trying new things here and have enjoyed plenty of dishes both hot and mild. My new favorite is the simple and wonderful Shrimp and Broccoli. It's fresh and nothing deep fried, my new GoTo! They also have great Crab Rangoon and the dumplings (either way) are fab! My favorite soup is The Pork and Pickle, and I am thrilled to be able to get it here. So many others have dropped it off menu. The only downer was how difficult it was to get a smile out of our server, but it happened! And the table soy container was in need of a cleaning. In their defense, they were busy Saturday night and staff was small. Mr. Cheng's keep on rockin' you are great!!! Oh! Try the teas they are delicious! No sake darn it, no alcohol here.

My food was mostly alright. I ordered eggplant with pork and basil, and my wife got sizzling beef. Both were tasty, and the portions were worth the price. The fried rice was not very good, but it's a side, so it's standard. Now for the disappointment: we ordered steamed buns(filled with pork). We were told that it takes 20 minutes to make, so we ordered it to go, so it would be ready once we finished our meal. They came out with our bill and I decided to sample one. They were NOT steamed buns, by any means. They were dumplings. I asked one of the employees if this was the correct order, because even though my ticket said "steamed buns", these were plainly dumplings. I was informed that they were indeed steamed buns, because they were round, and dumplings were moon shaped. Well, that's a load of crap. Steamed buns(bao) are fluffy and buff, like little snowballs stuffed with goodness. That was absolutely not what I was given. I work all around Asia, and dumplings come in various shapes and sizes, so the fact that these guys don't know the difference between steamed buns and steamed dumplings guarantees that I won't be coming back.
