First time there. Everything was delicious. We had the trio appetizer and oh my the gumbo. Husband had shrimp Alfredo and I had blackened fish with crawfish sauce on bed of rice. Both were very good, almost got a gumbo to go to have for tomorrow but Big servings we both have leftovers. Service was great!!!

Ordered the Cajun Alfredo with sausage and Boudin Balls. The Alfredo had nothing but pasta, sauce and 5 thin slices of sausage. No vegetables at all! The Boudin Balls were good, but I'll take my $30 elsewhere next time. Wish this review would allow me to share the picture I took.

Went for dinner last night. The hours of operation on Google and on the door of the restaurant indicated they were open but it was clearly closed.

I joined friends for a meal on Friday evening. The meals we ordered looked nothing like the advertisement on the website. I ordered the blackened catfish over rice. The catfish was not blackened and lacked seasoning. When I spoke with the waitress and the guy that worked at the restaurant, they made excuses as to why the food looked liked it did. He then proceeded to ask me does the food always look like the advertisement at other establishments. I couldn’t understand why I had to explain why I expected a meal that cost 22.00 to resemble the advertisement from the restaurant. The guy said he would take the meal off the ticket or he could have the chef to remake the meal. He returned to our table and stated the chef said she would not remake the meal because fish is expensive. I could not believe I was being denied service because of the false advertisement of the restaurant. He offered to have her make a different dish. At this point I was in disbelief that this was happening. I declined the offer. Also, this was not a busy night for the establishment due to no one being in the restaurant other than our party of three.

I went here with a couple friends this past Friday. We were the only ones there on a Friday evening. The experience started off as pleasant but quickly declined. My friend and I both ordered the Algiers blackened catfish. When it came out, there was no “blackening”. They explained that their version of blackening is not through the cooking process, but rather the seasoning. So we asked if they could remake it, as it severely lacked seasoning; we only wanted it to resemble what they have advertised on their website. The male worker was aggressive and argumentative, stating “so do y’all send food back everywhere else when it doesn’t look like the picture?”. He finally agreed to have the chef remake. 60 seconds later he came back empty handed and told us that the owner “refused to remake it because this is how she does it and fish is too expensive”. I was floored. When I asked if I could have something else from the menu, he hesitated to answer, so we just told him never mind and we didn’t eat. They did comp our meals. I have had blackened fish on many occasions, so I’m aware of how it should look and taste. This lacked seasoning and was more so a rubbery baked fish that was still white in color. I was really excited to try this place, but this was my first and last time. I have never had an experience like that with such poor customer service. Do not recommend
