If you looking for some good southern style BBQ, go see my boy Kevin. Out of all the baked beans I’ve had, he’s top 3 and he ain’t 3. Mac and cheese was seasoned perfectly and the brisket has that nice smoky flavor to it. I just moved to Sherwood and I will be going back to see Kevin to try his whole menu. Yall go should check em out!

OMG!!!
Our retired to Central, Arkansas from Memphis, Tennessee, and in case you don’t know, it is considered the capital of the world.
I thought I would never have good barbecue again, but then I discovered Smoky Joe’s box BBQ.
I had the pulled pork barbecue sandwich, which was excellent as well the potato salad and baked beans.
I can’t wait to go back and sample the ribs and the chicken and the sausage.
Don’t hesitate to get to this fine barbecue restaurant as soon as you can, and the owner, Kevin, is so pleasant to talk to and visit with.
I wish him much success.

I got a half rack of ribs and an order of oxtails. Both were amazingly delicious, tender, and seasoned perfectly with good sized portions. Great job to the pit master!

I've tried many BBQ places but this is top notch. It may not look like it on the outside this place packs a delicious punch. Kevin's BBQ is hands down the best in the city!

So I just wanted SMOKED CHICKEN WINGS PERIOD I tried my luck in Maumelle because Smoke N Joe Box was CLOSED I even spent another 30$ at a restaurant in DWN TWN LR in total I spent almost 60$ THE EVERY NXT DAY NXT DAY I WENT TO SMOKE N JOE BOX I MEAN WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE THEIR SMOKED CHICKEN WINGS ATE BY FAR FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER EVER EVER IN THS STATE OF AR DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND GET UP N GO TO SMOKE N JOE BOX BBQ HONESTLY U WILL NT BE DISAPPOINTED TREAT YOURSELF I WILL RETURN THIS WEEK YES SIR

The ribs and chicken were smoked to perfection. The baked beans, chocolate cake and the pound cake were delicious 😋

We just ordered dinner from here and EVERYTHING was AMAZING! I have NEVER had a piece of Brisket that I can cut so easily with just a fork nor smoked chicken that melts in your mouth. The ribs and oxtails that I tried also blew me away. I know I'm always going to have a hard time picking something to eat. It was our first visit but definitely not our last. If you haven't been there...DO IT!

I found this place and it is Excellence oxtails a great we'll be back and the proprietor is very hospitable it turns out to be a nice find

The smoked meat Gumbo is excellent. The variety of different smoked meats in it is over the top. The smoked Oxtails will make you smile.

He has the best Smoked whole wings in central Arkansas. The spaghetti is very tasty. Go check out the SMOKE'N JOE BOX.
