I ordered 2 oxtail plates and 2 combo platters.... the chicken was undercooked and unseasoned...the pork chops was unseasoned and old, like they re-dipped it in the fryer... the macaroni and cheese was old and dry and unseasoned... the pinto beans were straight salt... the greens were also super salty... the cornbread was dry... the rice was undercooked and crunchy... the meatloaf tasted sweet...they drown the oxtails in brown packaged gravy... the only good thing about my plate was the fried fish... it was fresh and not overly seasoned...$75 for 1 piece of fried fish because they rest of it was complete trash!!! I tried calling back and no one answered. It's 30 minutes before close, so I guess I just gotta take that L...

First and last bad experience. 1 catfish filet cut into 3 separate pieces is misleading. I also had Italian cream cake which was not baked thoroughly with a gummy texture. The smell of raw old cake mix. I will not be back this was a horrible experience.

I ordered today, I expected this to be so good. Number one they left off my drink, apparently they didn't have most of the items I purchased (greens tasted like pure salt) . Yams tasted like they were made from the can, Mac and cheese salty too. No condiments. I will not be ordering again. Oh, you'd expect better food on a Sunday. I purchased through Uber eats.

I love this place already! This was my husband and I first time coming here and it was a great experience. The owner is so so sweet and the workers are sweet as well! We conversed with workers and customers, got to know more about the restaurant while we waited for our food. My husband got the fried catfish with sides of cabbage and creole mac and cheese and I got the salmon with the same ides as him. Love it!! Didn’t even get to take a picture of the food because we couldn’t wait to eat. We can’t wait to come back next Sunday to get some oxtails. We got to taste a sample of it and it was delicious. Definitely come here and try this place out, you will not regret it.

They had been closed for over 2 hours when we walked in, yet when she found out we were leaving the next morning she went in the kitchen cooked 2 of the best burgers I've ever had. I felt such gratitude by the kindness of these people. Blessed. Thank you again, and everyone should eat here for no other reason than these are wonderful people with wonderful hearts, and that's how she cooks her food, with her heart. Do you know the food is wonderful too ❤️
