The name says it all, so good! The customer service was exceptional. The food did not disappoint. I ordered a variety of items and everything was good; catfish, greens, yams, mac and cheese, pancit, and purple sweet potato pie. I love everything about this family business and what it represents. Try it!

The place is a bit funky inside but the food is delicious and the service incredible. A husband and wife duo run the place. The wife does the cooking and you can tell she takes pride in her food. I went on a Sunday and got the beans and rice with meat (kind of like gumbo) with a side of pansit (phillipino rice noodles) and collard greens. I also got a side of chicken Lumpia (similar to an egg roll but better) and an Arnold Palmer made with their homemade lemonade and sweet tea. Everything was absolutely delicious. It all cost me $27 but I had a ton of food that my toddler and I shared for two meals. I'm from Los Angeles where there is a ton of delicious food to choose from and I wish they had one of these there. If I lived in the area this would become a regular spot on my rotation. I also love to support local small businesses.

The second I walked in, I felt like I had just been adopted into the world’s friendliest family. The welcome was so warm I half expected them to hand me slippers and a plate before I even sat down.
And the food? Let me tell you… the Chicken Adobo Mac and Cheese with greens and sweet potato nearly took me out. I wasn’t eating it—I was trying to survive it. It was so good I forgot how to breathe, chew, and blink all at the same time. Flavors were hitting me from every direction like they had personal beef with my taste buds. The mac and cheese wasn’t just cheesy, it was straight-up disrespectful—in the best way. The sweet potato tasted like somebody’s grandma whispered a prayer over it. And the greens? Let’s just say Popeye would’ve turned into Superman.
This place doesn’t just serve food—they serve life-changing experiences. Five stars? Please. If I could, I’d give them an entire constellation. If you haven’t been yet, you are absolutely depriving yourself of joy, flavor, and possibly your new favorite addiction.

I took my friend here for his birthday. I had been driving my this place for months. Some of the best soul food and filipino food I have ever tasted. I am normally not a fan of chicken adobo, but the sauce was absolutely flavorful and the chicken was so tender. And the pansit? Top tier👌🏾. I grew up eating filipino food. The greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese were all delicious. And the owners are so gracious and friendly. Excellent customer service. You have to try it. A hidden gem in NLR. I will definitely be back again.

We are on a 3 week road trip from Detroit to New Orleans and were happy to fine a cafe serving pandit (filipino rice noodles). The fried chicken and catfish were fried to order and worth the wait. The chef made me an order of coleslaw even though it wasn't on the menu that day. Proprietor and family were hospitable. They decor is simple and soothing which made it an oasis from the heat and humidity on a June afternoon. Highly recommend.
First time trying this restaurant and it was SO GOOD (pun intended). I had the catfish, yams, and greens. Everything was so flavorful! I will definitely return again!
