Such a hidden gem when out on a beautiful ride. All the food was fantastic and very generous portions. Fried pie and possum pie was so yummy and bring friends to split it. Lovely view and relaxed atmosphere.

From Great Food to Terrible Service: A Sad Decline
I'm officially editing my previous, more positive review. While the food here has been consistently great across our visits, the service has gone from merely 'lackluster' to downright unacceptable. On our last two visits, it was painfully obvious the restaurant was understaffed. More concerningly, the two waitresses on duty showed a complete lack of concern for customer experience.
We received no apologies for any issues. The most glaring example was when five of us had to stand waiting while our server sat down in a chair opposite us, only telling us 'you can sit now' once she seemed ready. Another frustrating incident involved water: after receiving an initial glass from the fountain, I asked for a refill. I was brought two bottles of water and told the fountain was 'broken,' then charged $1 for each bottle.
We love the scenery and park offerings, but this restaurant needs serious help. The good food is completely overshadowed by the abysmal service, and we won't be back to eat here.

$10.50 for a slice of cake is exorbitant. Ripping customers off is not good business. Nice to visit once for the view, but we won’t be back.

I honestly can not say enough about the food and service!!! First night I had catfish (spicy) (not spicy I’m a wimp with spicy stuff just good spicy flavor) she had fried shrimp AMAZING! Second night (yes we went back thinking no way it can get better, it does) I had steak (being from Fayetteville simply the best steak I’ve ever had from a restaurant!!) she had she had grilled shrimp absolutely amazing!!! To make things even better, asked the waiters if they had fried chocolate pie she said no we haven’t perfected that yet. 5 minutes later there was a chocolate fried pie in front of us ?!!! There is honestly nothing better I can say about this place other than AMAZING!! I highly HIGHLY recommend this place!!! No im not part of the good ol boy system down there I’m just a highly satisfied customer of some amazing food!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Not sure who the owner is to this place and hope this reaches you, just wow!!

One of the absolute best restaurants I have ever eaten at. The food was delightful with massive portions and the servers were very attentive. I went with my family and everyone was fully satisfied.

The best Southern food I've had!! I'm no expert on Southern food, but this is the best I've tasted. The food was delicious, the presentation was great, the staff were friendly and the space has great decor. A hidden gem in the Ozarks!

The food and atmosphere were great. We came on a Saturday evening. Their kitchen is small and wait staff was limited, so the food took quite awhile to come out. It was also very busy. But the food was awesome. Get there on a week day if you can.
