If you are looking for a dinner date for 2 in Paragould you should definitely give this place a try. The ambience was relaxing and a nice setting for conversation. The food offerings would definitely be different than normal in Paragould. With that being said, with tax and tip our bill came to over 100 per person. You are allowed to expect higher quality of service, food, and facilities than this restaurant offers. There were good things about the food, but each entree was missing the quality you would expect. Staff was nice and service fine. We sat right next to the kitchen door, so that was not pleasant. Of course in that dining area you almost had to sit next to the kitchen. In another dining area you might have to sit by their soda machine. What pushed the stars all the way to a 2, was the owner's/manager's dog being, not only in the office room, but also in the dining area. Again, not what you would expect from this type of restaurant.

Chow provides food options that you cannot experience at any other restaurant in Paragould. The food is always excellent. The portions aren't huge, but they're big enough to fill you up without overeating. The atmosphere is good, we go at lunch and it's very casual.

You ought to be ashamed of yourselves for walking out on a job with a full house! The Lounge had you booked and you couldn't handle the volume so you just walked out? A full house waiting for a play and dinner.! You are disgusting and we will never eat at any establishment that you cook for! Such an unprofessional thing to do and you calm yourselves chefs????? This was a venue other than your establishment which we will never visit now.

I’m a native of small-town NE Arkansas now living in downtown Bentonville, and I’m happy to report that, as I told the proprietor, Chow would fit right in and succeed here. I had the duck entree on a recent visit, and it was as good as I’ve had. The bourbon selection was outstanding as well.

The food is delicious, the liquor drinks are well made & topped beautifully. The restraint itself has a wonderful atmosphere. The chef even makes his way around to the tables. All in all a wonderful experience. We had the fried oyster appetizer, panko chicken with candied yams, and a side of pasta garnished in sprouts, & shrimp & grits. The sauce with the grits was the show stopper! Absolutely amazing!
We went for the first time for our anniversary in October. Super nice atmosphere, we enjoyed it greatly. However, the food was sub-par for an establishment that fetches the kind of prices that it does. We don't mind at all paying top dollar for a meal if it's good! You basically have to be ok with the fact that you're paying for a different atmosphere than you normally find around here because you're definitely not getting top-notch food or service.

We had reservations at 7:30 for a birthday dinner for 2 people. By 8:30 they were rushing us out. Turning lights off, putting the salt and pepper shakers up, running the people on the patio off. Knats were also flying around our table. Steak was basic and not worth 54 dollars whatsoever. Waitresses were bragging about tips loudly where people could hear them. Drinks were decent. Cool atmosphere. Might try it down the road but overall was not a great experience for a birthday dinner.
