Great people and great food! My personal favorite is the ribs when it’s that time of year. However I have yet to have anything that wasn’t awesome. Need to come to Anchor Pointe if you want a great vacation on a beautiful lake with tasty food!
Great hosts...people friendly. Clean living quarters. Fair prices. Great, not good food, in the restaurant....try the Pizza or the cheeseburger.
People are great, food is Great! Nice to have a high quality menu in a small town.
Three friends and I just spent a week at the resort and it was absolutely amazing. Craig and Jennifer went above and beyond to make 4 old geezers feel at home! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for that old fashioned classic feel of a family resort on the lake! The Restaurant on site brought back so many memories of staying at the lake in the summer and dreading having to go home. Beautiful view and the fishing wasn’t bad either.

Such great food!!! We had the burger and fired pickles, and my buddy had a baked potato. We were all super happy with the food. It was delicious. Definitely try the seasoned fries. They serve beer, too. It's such a nice pilot place right off the lake. Staff and owner are very friendly and make for a great environment. I can't wait to go back and eat and hang out here again.

Craig and Jenifer are great hosts and great people. We couldn’t have been treated nicer. Accommodations were a great value for what we paid. The cabins and restaurant overlook Bull Shoals Lake. Everything is located within a USACE RV park, camp ground, marina, and boat launch, so we always felt very secure. The area is very secluded and quiet but is close enough to Branson, MO to give you plenty of entertainment options. Craig and Jenifer know the area and offer great advice on the best routes to take to enjoy fun opportunities! Great place to bring your family to enjoy the lake, fish, or just hang out! The restaurant offers a variety of great food and is staffed with some super friendly people. We enjoyed our stay and hope to get back there in the future! Highly Recommend Anchor Pointe Resort!
Rooms: Rooms are simple but well maintained and clean!
Nearby activities: Branson, MO has a lot to offer. Fishing and lake recreation on site!
Food and drinks: The food at the restaurant was very good. The owners smoke their own pork and brisket for many of the dishes. Things like potato salad, Cole slaw, etc. are made on site. They offer reasonably priced alcoholic beverages. The peach cobbler ice cream is a must try!
Noteworthy details: Since it is all located at a USACE facility, tent campers and RV campers can enjoy the Anchor Pointe restaurant and general store, too. Both are located just above the camp ground. I took a look at the camp sites because I may want to come back in my motor home. The sites looked really nice. However, as with most USACE campgrounds, sewage hook ups are not available, but a black water dump site is available. All camping reservations must be made through the USACE at Bull Shoals, not Anchor Pointe. Anchor Pointe can take care of cabin rental reservations! Give them a call!

The hospitality at this place is by far THE BEST I have ever experienced. We were there for the weekend and loved every minute of it! They got to know us and personalized our meals. They treated our son like he is one of his own! Their food is amazing! Ice cream is to die for! The rooms are older, but well kept and very clean. Beds are comfy and the views were GREAT! 100% recommend!
My family visited this restaurant for the first time since it has had the new owners. A man and his wife now own the restaurant and resort. We met the man. He is awesome. We had excellent service and he is very friendly. The food was great too! I especially enjoyed my shake. They have like eight icecream flavors at a time. The inside of the restaurant has been remodeled since we came last! I liked color of the chairs.
They have a golf cart that can pick people up at the marina if you call. It's a big hill.
He said to follow the Facebook page for specials, hours, ect.
We'll be back next time we visit the lake.
Walkability: Call for a golf cart ride from the Marina.
Food & drinks: Milkshakes are excellent

The Restaurant is to die for....Great owners and Great food !
I haven't stayed in the cabins, but I've eaten at the restaurant quite a bit. Best ribs I've ever had, hands down. I'm still thinking about them. Also some of the best pulled pork I've ever had. I was thinking about it from when I had it in May, tried it again this past weekend and it was just as delicious as I remembered! Save room for ice cream!!!! Edited to add: you won't find nicer folks around than Craig and Jennifer!
Highly recommend! Great place to stay on the amazing bull shoals lake. just spent 4 nights there and it was perfect. Restaurant food is delicious and friendly staff!
