Sam's Southern Eatery

Absolutely the friendliest staff. They greeted us as we walked in and treated us great. But the catfish is absolutely amazing. Fresh and so tasty with a light batter that just made every bite enjoyable. The sides with the buttery mashed taters and red beans and rice was perfect. We will be back!

This place is really under rated. The food and service here were great. But I was told stay away from the burgers. I was told it wasn't real meat. But the chicken and fish were really good. The come slaw was fresh and so was the okra.

I was passing through Pine Bluff during lunch and asked Maps to find restaurants near me and Sam's Southern Eatery was top of the list!! We USED to have a Sam's in El Dorado and even Magnolia, I believe, but they are no longer there 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️!!! I loved eating at Sam's so I drove straight there and it didn't disappoint, either!! Just how I remembered it!! Note to Sam: Come back to Eldo or Magnolia!! 😝😂

Used to love Sams, but this particular location was horrible. Probably the worst fish ive ever eaten in my life. Catfish jerky with no flavor other than old oil is the best way to describe it.

Went in not expecting very good food but it was the only place that we found open came out with a whole different review excellent food excellent service nice place clean very much so recommended
