I have been to Junction 166 Cafe numerous times over the last 2 years. The food was mediocre at best in the beginning but today was the worst meal and last for me. Albeit plentiful portions, the mashed potatoes were served cold, the meatloaf was tough and dry, and the roll was literally black on top from from burning. What server could actually take that plate to a customer? I usually do not complain , just pay and chalk it up to a bad experience…. This meal earns the Pocahontas Pitiful Plate Award! And what restaurant runs out of beans????? Shameful .

This is the place to meet up with old friends or make new ones. Good food, generous portions, good prices and friendly service.

The food was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The place was nice and clean too. We had a larger party and there were no issues at all. Will definitely have to come back to try their lunch and dinner menu.

Open early and on Saturday , fast, great service, and a good breakfast.

One star only because there isn’t a zero star! I have never had tough meatloaf but it’s possible at the 166 cafe! Even the water will dry your mouth out! Whatever can the greens come out of need to be discontinued. The Mac&cheese out of the box is even horrible, how do you screw that up? So all in all bring your own water to drink and your own food to eat and it might be decent!

We came in this morning at 11:10 am and walked out at 12:30 worse service other customers showed up 30 minutes after us were already eating waitress didn’t acknowledge us for refills or anything also charged us for drinks. I doubt we come back and we use to enjoy eating there.

Good, Southern breakfast. Nothing fancy, but heavy on carbs and calories, and tastes really good to an old Southern guy. I suspect the biscuits were made from frozen (not a bad thing these days). It's a mom and pop style place, the coffee in plentiful, and everyone seems to know everyone else.

Went on Saturday and the food was horrible. Right before the rush so they weren't to busy. Gravy tasted like glue, ham was watered down and salty. Biscuit were burnt and stale. Cold bacon and really burnt hashbrowns. Been there several times and this was the worst we've experienced.
