Visiting from S Florida. Stopped in for their Rueben Sandwich. AMAZING definitely worth it. They don't skip on the amount of very tasty cornbeef, the rye bread is toasted to perfection, perfect amount of saurkraut, swiss cheese and dressing... AND it was served with homemade potato salad and fresh fruit. Not to mention one of the owners Mr. Glen Clark was so interesting to chat with. If I lived here I'd be a regular. Nice little specialty shop located between Gypsy Girl and The Playhouse in Pocahontas. Great spices, tea, coffee, cheese and friendly owners. Pick up a wonderful sandwich on fresh bread and deli meat and cheese.
Three different people told us to try Mildred's because it was reuben sandwich day, and I'm so glad I did. Not only did we get a very delicious lunch (sandwich, applesauce, pickle, and potato salad), but we purchased homemade bread and a jar of honey. The owner and cook were chatty. ?
