Good fresh food, nothing crazy or fancy just down home southern cooking. Very inviting atmosphere. You can tell a lot of the customers are regulars and comfortable which in part is the staff because this was my first trip in over a decade and they made me feel at home. Fair prices, great salad bar. The only thing I didn't like is being a buffet I wish I could have ate more than one plate but I was stuffed. My picky 10 year old even loved it and asked when we can come back.

If you like catfish, this is the place to go. Excellent buffet, from catfish, fried chicken, froglegs, crawfish, shrimp, salad bar and all the extras! We will definitely be going back!

Tonight was our first time to dine at Quitman Catfish Barn. The food was amazing!! The atmosphere was delightful. There were so many selections on their buffet lines! We will definately be back!!

Unfortunately, a friend of mine had a very negative experience with the owner, Sherry. She borrowed money from him with the promise of paying it back, but despite multiple reminders, she has not returned it. It's disappointing to have someone in a position of trust behave this way.
I believe integrity is important, especially in business, and this experience has left him feeling taken advantage of. I hope Sherry reconsiders her actions, but for now, I cannot recommend this restaurant given the owner's unethical behavior.

Great catfish - both steaks and filets. Hush puppies, Cole slaw, and baked beans are great sides. And the cobbler is great with ice cream.

We drive from Heber to eat fish here because it is phenomenal. Would recommend it to anyone. The wait staff is Fabulous too ?
