We were traveling through town from Pensacola, FL back to Springfield, MO and stopped here for lunch. This was the comfort food we needed and thoroughly loved every bite of it. Not only was the food heavenly but the service felt like family. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Eclipse 2024. Thought we’d go a bit further but the smoke made us pull over. The best pork we’ve had in a long time (and we’re from Memphis!). They let us hang out for the eclipse. Lovely folks. Great food!!!!

I have driven by here a dozen times and never stopped and decided I would this time. I feel like I have lost out a dozen times before by not stopping here. This is hands down the most delicious BBQ I have had in a long time. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing and that's just the beginning. It was juicy, hot, full of smokey aroma and flavor and the BBQ sauce on top elevated the flavor even more. If you have driven by here and haven't stopped you are missing out. This has become my new go-to spot when driving through and I look forward to next time and every time after. If you are looking for a unique stop with amazing finger licking BBQ this place is for you.

Everything was really good! The sides tasted like they were homemade not commercially bought. The portions were just right. My favorite part of the meal was the potato salad but it was all delicious. We will definitely be back.

I recommend the ribs or the pulled pork. They are awesome. Not too wet or too dry. Excellent smoke flavor. All around great eats. And the apple pie baked beans are something I’d never heard of but I absolutely love them.
