I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience at this coffee shop was deeply troubling. While visiting, I witnessed a staff member treat a customer with Down syndrome unfairly and dismissively simply because he didn’t fully understand or use the “woke” language they seemed to expect.
Instead of showing patience, kindness, and respect—which should be the bare minimum in any service business—the staff singled him out, embarrassed him, and ultimately made him feel unwelcome. Watching someone with a disability be discriminated against in this way was heartbreaking and completely unacceptable.
Coffee shops are supposed to be warm, inclusive spaces where people feel comfortable. What happened here was the opposite. Regardless of personal views or buzzwords, every person deserves dignity, especially someone who may struggle to navigate complicated social expectations.
Until management takes accountability and trains their employees in genuine inclusivity, compassion, and disability awareness, I cannot recommend this place. There are many other cafés that manage to serve great coffee and treat all customers with basic humanity.

First time trying this place and the coffee was mid at best. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte that looked like milk with a splash of espresso it was watery and lacking pumpkin flavor. Service was flat with just a “what can I get you?” instead of a proper greeting. I stayed to work but the freezing A/C made it uncomfortable. Between the weak coffee, poor service, and cold atmosphere, Bolder needs to do better.

We tried both hot and cold lattes. The hot latte was not hot enough despite requesting an extra hot one and the cold latte was delicious but you can quickly tell that there’s plenty of sugar. We will definitely try other fancy latte and we loved the ambiance out here.

I love this coffee shop! The service is always great, but I'm regularly served coffee that is warm or almost room temp. It's only about 1/3 of the time but its always through the drive through and I dont have time to go back. When it's good its great!

First time customer. The associate could not describe the two blends of coffee that were on offer. The Boulder blend was full bodied and flavorful, but it was tepid. I just hate spending $4.42 for a basic cup of cold coffee. I was with a co-worker or I would have requested a do-over. At least the coffee from the corporate shop is usually hot.

Bolder is a top of the line coffee shop. I have loved the 3 lattes I’ve ordered! Royale and Cafe Caramel are my go to. I always order 1/4 sweet and it’s more than perfect for me, the espresso really comes through - strong but so smooth!
