Colton's Steak House & Grill

Let me start with, I love eating at Coltons. Hadn't been here for over 2 years, so super excited abour there food. I'm vegetarian, so I got sweet potato fries, mushrooms, and a house salad minus a bunch of stuff. It was cold when we walked in the door so I ran back out and grab my sweater. After ordering my adult daughter and I were still cold. Asked the manager to turn the fans down, he said he couldn't with out turning off the lights. It was uncomfortable cold, couldn't wait to get out in the 85 degree temp. They weren't super busy but very busy for 2 servers. We didn't get our salad until the meal came, then we had to ask for them. Our server did very well he just had to many tables to try to work. I was very disappointed in the mushrooms, they have always been my must haves. Apparently they changed the recipe ? won't be ordering them again. The sweet potato fries were delicious but literally got 14. If you count the 1/2 fries then 20 fries for $4 and change. Another disappointment ? Then the salad, this was amazing. Good portions lots of extras on their house salad and they do have the best ranch dressing. They haven't messed that up yet. So I recommend having a salad of some sort or steak, don't think you can mess those up to bad

We came in a little early for dinner, so they weren't crowded. We sat in the bar where they were showing the Olympics live. I had the Strawberry Pecan Salad and it was amazing! It was just too hot to want a heavy meal, and this was perfect. Our waitress was attentive but didn't hover. She was friendly, kept our drinks filled, and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our dining experience, the food, the staff, and of course the wonderful rolls.

Vegetarian options: There are several options for a vegetarian, you can get any of their large salads without protein, and they have some wonderful sides so you could create your own meal.

Kid-friendliness: As dinner hour rolled around more families came in. Since they provide peanuts that you crack and throw on the floor, I imagine that would be fun for the kids.

Brought my sister in her wheelchair. We had a great meal; sat and chatted for a bit; & also had dessert. Wonderful time - great food; Not rushed; server was attentive & available but didn't hover. Great outing for us & she has asked to go back soon!

Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of tables; easy to wheel up to & not feel like you're blocking others ability to get past you.

My son's been telling me to come here for a long time. We finally made it, and I was not disappointed at all!! From the delicious appetizers to my yummy Hawaiian Ribeye Steak!!?

Server (Emmy) was very nice and attentive, drink never went empty, she was the best part of the visit. Ordered the Del Rio ribeye, it was the worst steak, no flavor but the worst part one end was well done and the other was almost Blu rare, ordered med rare. It was very sad I used to love this place, and it seems to have really dropped it standards. But thank you Emmy to a great job thank you to her!

The BEST ribeye and sirloin! ?Compliments to the chef! It was a great experience, and great waiter!!! Johnnie our waiter was so genuinely nice, attentive, seasoned. We will be back!!

Horrible! Avoid at all costs. Every grilled thing we got was burnt. They had fans on full power, my kids fingers were turning purple. Sides had no seasoning.

our last coltons visit her steak was almost total gristle. mine was a little bit better. but this time, they were decent. I should've raised a fuss about the steaks at the coltons in Springfield, but I was preoccupied with other matters at the time .

Place is empty and I know why. Service was slowwwww . To the point that people (7)who sat down 10 after us (2) got their food first. Oh and don't order the fried green beans. This was a full order of green beans. No joke.

One of the worst dinning experiences 25 min wait ended up being an hour to be out of t bone and rib eye ,dirty plates like super dirty 30 min wait on the food for half of the 5 orders to be wrong will not be coming back
