Ok here is the deal. I have been a customer of 5 guy's for at least 9 years, The food I had today is as good as the first time I had a 5 guy's burger. The thing is that the burgers are hand made, cooking on a grill you can see while they cook it and you can have just about anything you can put on a burger... The Fry's are made the old fashioned way, with potatoes cut fresh in the old way right in the shop just minutes before they are cooked.
Just think about the best burgers you ever had at a cookout and you will be close.
Now for the down side... The quality of the ingredients and the hand labor required to produce the burgers. In this way make five guys a tad on the expensive side. Yesterday I ordered a regular cheeseburger... A regular cheeseburger at five guys is two patties with all the trimmings and it cost about 10 bucks just for the burger. I bought a burger. My wife bought a bacon burger and we split a regular order of frys, no drinks... The bill came just short of $30... What I am most happy about is that they have not cut corners, The ingredients quality is it's good now as I've ever seen and I hope they survive because the prices are going up and it's not their fault. It's the cost of the ingredients and the labor... I still don't know of a place to get a better burger anywhere in the midwest...

We love Five Guys and have been there many times. We've had good experiences at all locations we have been too. Staff is always friendly and food is tasty.
1st timer, and the bacon double was pretty darn good. the fries were good and hot. I'll be back there.

For my first time it’s very disappointing. You would expect for the price a unique taste to distinguish the flavor of each other fast food burger. The burger tasteless, greasy and mushy. Burger also cold and cheese not even melted at all.. The fries so freaking salty.. Absolutely nothing special or good. Why is it expensive? No idea. Won’t go to FiveGuys ever again. The service unmotivated and mirrors the current generation.. no mimic, smile nor the will to provide a service place they choose to work ..

These folks capture the time in America when burgers tasted Excellent and the restaurant smells like.. Victory...at This 5 Guys, you can get your burgers on medium but the Service comes well done☝️ Back in the 70's, the commercials showed people in burger restaurants squeezing the ketchup packets directly into their mouths ☺️
