Wow, I'm so glad I found this place! On Halloween! 2 employees had costumes on, very joyful and overall great service.
The main cook, Jeff, is a great person to talk to! He offered us a plate of fries while we waited on our order and even checked up on us at our table.
This is a seat-yourself/order-upfront type of place, so I didn't expect it. The food, might I say, was 👌.
Chicken—This hot chicken was actually insane in quality. The texture alone tells you it wasn’t cheap or rushed. The crust has that perfect shatter — thin, crispy, and actually bonded to the meat instead of flaking off like cornflake crumbs. Every bite has weight to it. You feel the crunch first, then it transitions into that tender, juicy chicken that still keeps structure and hasn’t been dried out by overfrying. You can tell the quality of the chicken they use because the meat still pulls in natural strands, not mush. Even at this heat level, nothing got drowned out. Truly well done — balanced flavor, real heat, and a texture that makes every bite addictive.
I can't wait to come back to this place! I highly recommend it to anyone craving hot chicken!

After having ate at various hot chicken places in Nashville over the years (HattieB, Pepper Fire, and the OG Princes), Jake's is better than those places. I feel like the Nashville places quality have slipped over the years. The tenders at Jake's are moist, the seasoning and heat is balanced, and fries are fresh cut. Good portions for the price. Definitely revisiting when back in NWA. Also plays good classic rock 🤘

The chicken is absolutely legit. I was a little confused on the way the sides work (you order them a la carte, they don't seem to come with any of the meals) so I only had the chicken (Hot/Habañero) and fries, but both were excellent. Next time I'll remember to order an additional sauce as the one small sauce wasn't adequate for the 4 large tenders the I got. But, if you like hot chicken, you can't go wrong here - excellent flavor.

Tried this tonight for the first time and was VERY impressed! The spicy options had great flavor instead of just being overpowering with heat and the quantity of food was a great value! We will be back.

Forget the big fast food chicken places. Jake's is the best chicken in NWA! Tender, flavorful and juicy pieces. And the fries are great as well.

The fries were great and the chicken was really juicy, but it was absolutely the blandest fried chicken I've ever had. I got the Mild to try and it was extra greasy from the oil mix, but completely lacking in seasoning. All the tables were filthy and it just felt grimy inside.

We stopped in for lunch during Bikes Blues & BBQ. We chose the medium heat chicken. I had the chicken sandwich and my wife had the tenders. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The staff was great and they give you plenty of food. We plan on stopping in there again the next time we are in the area and will probably step up to the next heat level.

This place has THE BEST chicken tenders! I especially love the Medium flavor, it’s very similar to Nashville Hot and SO GOOD.
