The chicken is really good. The coleslaw was also really good. French fries were decent. The customer service needs a little work I think they were short staffed. It took about 20 minutes to get my order but it was fresh hot and very good. I will definitely be going back. I want to try the chicken strips.
I love the mild heat tenders and the coleslaw!
The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Whitney Wooten for a great dining experience.
I think the chicken is grrrreat, I've only had up to Hot, have not ventured hotter bc the the hot seems just about right for me. I'm a huge fan of the home cut fries, and the banana pudding is just like my grandma made back when I was a kid, very nostalgic for me. I am a little biased because I'm a new employee there, but I've worked at other restaurants before and never really recommended them, for I'm no critic, but this food is different, so definitely come give it a try.
We ordered the tenders and chicken sandwich it was so delicious. The fries are hot and fresh and you get so much of them. Totally recommend this place 100%
A high-quality hot chicken option that NWA has been missing! Food was great.

Tenders, chicken sandwich and dark quarter is delicious and HOME made fries. You can have your chicken spiced from southern to mount saint helen. Chicken is cooked fresh so you have to wait a few minutes

I had the tenders and they were great. I got the hot tenders. The breading was perfect and so was the spice level. I will be back.

Jake's is now open. Located in the old Long John Silver location. Best way to describe it is rustic hot chicken. Everything is cooked to order. Nothing is made ahead. They have different spice levels which are blended in house as is everything else. I had the leg and thigh quarter which was fresh and juicy, and hot. Very flavorful. They have a variety of sides, including pimento Mac and cheese which sells out rather quickly. I tried the bacon and grits, wasn't my cup of tea. Speaking of tea I would give it a pass.Over all it was good, give it a try

The chicken was so fresh and juicy. The coating on the chicken had the perfect amount of spice. Bacon cheddar grits were good but very rich. French fries were delicious. Everything was very reasonably priced and came out fresh and hot. Service was great. The guy that checked us out was so patient and helpful. It was our first time and he gave us some great recommendations. Atmosphere is simple and chill. All very good.

Jake's Hot Chicken is a family-owned, local restaurant that may just have the best fried chicken in Northwest Arkansas. The food is freshly cooked, and the staff will give you a time estimate on how long it will take based on what you order. We ordered two tenders combos and one white quarter combo. The quarter meals take about 18 minutes to cook, but it was SO worth it! You select your level of "hot" from six options, ranging from "Southern" (no heat) up to "Mount St. Helens". I had the medium heat and it was just enough to give me the kick without setting my mouth on fire. The portions are substantial, and the prices are low for what you get, especially when compared to other restaurants in the area. The restaurant is in the old Long John Silvers building and has 10 or 12 tables. Very clean and the staff were fun and attentive. We will be ordering carry out and visiting again soon!
