The pork chops were delicious. The mac n cheese was great. But the greens were different than I expected. They were spicy and sweet. I was expecting southern style like with butter and bacon flavor. I had called in my order to go but when I got inside, I waited and waited for someone to come to the counter. I know the guy at the bar could see me but he never said anything to anyone about a customer being there. I finally walked over to the bar to tell him I had an order to go, and when I walked by the kitchen window, everyone was in there and even then the bartender had to get their attention. Then it seemed like they didn't know where my order was. Took them all a minute to figure it out. There were only a couple of people at the bar and only one other couple at a table in the restaurant. So not sure what the confusion was. I may give it another try because the food was good.

We had cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Everything we tried was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

My chicken and waffles were great. The burnt ends were terrible. Fried pork chops were decent. Drinks were great. Great service. Will go again to try more of the menu.

Stopped in for first time and took a full rack of ribs home for dinner. Worst we’ve ever had. Very tough. Never again

4 Chicken wings are huge. Huge. Fried well. Great seasonings.
Collard greens are chef crunchy cooked style instead of old southern boiled soft type.
Cucumber salad too sharp a vinaigrette flavor for me. Ask for ranch.
Cornbread muffin but sweet and you'll need that if you get hot style wings.
Gonna try the sweet yams next time!

First time there, I ordered the Po'Boy with mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. After a few bites of mac and cheese I pulled a long blonde hair out of it. I respectfully notified the waitress. I was offered a new bowl of mac and cheese or I could have a dessert on the house. I declined both offers as my appetite was ruined at that point. They never offered to comp anything from my bill. Also, I just read some of the negative reviews, and it appears I am not the only one to find a long blonde hair in their food. GROSS. Even without the hair the food is terribly overpriced.

Amazing food and service! Very detail oriented and helpful. Our baby was getting fussy and the cook brought us out fruit to keep her happy. The food is incredible and we are always pleased with their level of service

Oh my goodness! What a find! Love to try “local” places while traveling and Marsoul’s was so good we just had to make a second visit before heading back to Texas. The BEST burger ever, my husbands fav…shrimp & grits…chicken & waffles…fab southern sides including collards and fried to perfection okra. Did I mention banana pudding??!!? FRIENDLY STAFF too!! A winner!

Marsouls has the best wings in town and fantastic sides and cocktails! We ask for them w/o breading and they are perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy inside. Wonderful service— Max always takes amazing care of us!
