We came to Rodgers over the Labor Day weekend just to explore. I saw a bad review of this place and almost didn’t stop by. THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A MISTAKE! The food was more than amazing! We had the catfish with collard greens and the chicken and waffles! This was some of the best food we’ve had! The service was great! You have to stop in! You won’t be disappointed!!! Sorry I don’t have pictures. We ate it all!

I took my mother here for her birthday. That was my error. I would categorize this place as southern and not a soul food place first of all. However, I would say that it is not a good representation of southern food either. I have been in the market for soul food in NWA for quite some time and I was thrilled to see one open up. Both my mom and I ordered the pork chops with two sides and sweet tea. The sweet tea was not sweet and quite bitter. When we asked the server to change out our drinks she sort of gave a huff and was frustrated that she would need to remake it. Later at dinner, we found out why she was so frustrated. Apparently, the taps for the beer and the drink machine were not working properly. My husband‘s beer was completely flat and she served it to us at the table and told us that it was flat. She offered no type of accommodation or to take it off the tab. We were just supposed to drink flat beer. My pork chops were fried okay enough, but lacked all manner of seasoning. The baked beans tasted like a can of van camps pork and beans microwaved. Soul food is typically packed with robust flavors and fried to golden perfection. I just didn’t feel any soul or any passion from my ancestors in this food. I truly take no pleasure in leaving reviews that are not overly complementary of businesses, but I pride myself on being honest. Dining out is an expensive privilege and I want people to be informed. The food was bad and the service was worse. Maybe in a year or two with new staff and new recipes and feedback from customers they will improve. 🙏🏽

Soul Food in Rogers, Arkansas that is mouthwateringly good. I had the chicken and waffles and my friend had the shrimp po bo. I wanted to lick my plate it was that good.

Amazing unbelievable barbecue chicken!!! Best barbecue chicken I ever had bar none . The banana pudding was amazing as well! It was so delicious! But that barbecue chicken , I was completely flabbergasted about how good it was. This east Texan was highly impressed and I will he recommending you guys to everyone. Truly a 10/10 . The barbecue chicken was a religious awakening lol truly

We stopped by for dinner tonight, first time. The service and food was top notch. We had the cucumber salad, pork sliders and the catfish plate. All of it was amazing. We will be back.

I can't express enough how good the food was at this establishment. I visited last night on a whim and it did not disappoint. I had the fried catfish with a side of fried okra and it was so good I wanted to get an order to go. I also got the deviled eggs as an appetizer and they were delicious as well. I got a chance to talk to the owner and he was a true gentleman and the customer service overall was great and the waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu. If you havent been here yet i highly recommend it and i will definitely be back
