Slow service food wasn’t hot restroom was out of paper towels won’t be back
Never have had to post a review like this. Limited menu which made me think the food would be good. Everything our family ordered was bad. Given wrong alcoholic drink. Servers with their toosh hanging out terrible appearances. bad service. iIts a glorified bar hangout spot. Terrible waste of money.
Been excited to eat here for a while and finally decided to stop in.The location is clean and relaxing. When seated inside, it can be a little cramped depending on when you decide to go. Especially with the bar being so close to some of the tables and people walking around. The outside area is much bigger, but I can see being a bit loud and obnoxious on very busy times. The staff was just okay. There was a group of girls gathered behind the counter when we first walked in who were very unfriendly and passive aggressive about doing their job. Not sure if they were having a bad day or if this is typical. But terrible first impression and also the large group never said goodbye or thanks as we were leaving after our meal. Instead just watched us walk out which I found awkward. They could use some training. Our waitress was much better in terms of being polite. But still wasn’t blown away by how often we would see her.Now for the food. We got chicken tenders for the appetizer. They were filling but incredibly dry. I think if cooked right, they would taste amazing. Just were not. For the main meal, I got fries and a pulled pork sandwich. I asked for it plain and it came out with everything on it. Once it came back fixed, I enjoyed it overall because the amount of meat on the sandwich was worth the price I paid for it. But the taste was very subpar. Almost tasteless. The BBQ does not come on the side or on the sandwich (regardless of if I asked for plain or not) and only offered in a screw off top bottle sitting at every table. I find that to be incredibly gross and unsanitary. So I was forced to eat my sandwich with no BBQ on it. So no clue what the BBQ actually tastes like and can acknowledge that is why my sandwich was partially so dry. The fries were the highlight of my meal and were delicious.I will come back and give it another chance. But I will never suggest coming here with a friends night out or if someone comes into town. My first experience was very disappointing and I would be embarrassed if I suggested eating here and had to relive the same things with a friend or visitor.EDIT: I was requested to email McClards marketing team via email about this review. I sent two emails over two weeks. No reply.
We have mixed feelings. We have eaten here 3 times in 6 weeks. We can only eat outside due to health issues and avoiding catching COVID.Their large outdoor covered area we love. The service is excellent. The bar is great. Some of the food is excellent and some is just OK. Excellent are their sides, salads and potato. The pulled pork is very good. The brisket is OK.We will go back to try the chicken next. Also needed are more BBQ sauce choices. Of the dozen people I have been there with only one likes their sauce. The food has good flavor and is fine with our sauce actually.
My husband and I love this place and eat here frequently. The patio is one of the best in NW AR. It even has a separate area for kids to play! The BBQ is good and servings are plenty. We always leave food on our plates or take leftovers home. The music is good. The service is great. Never have had a bad experience here. We also have eaten here and walked to the AMP. Great place!!
I have friends from hot springs area that rave about the original, but either their taste is awful or this one fails to bring over the same atmosphere/quality. The food was bland, cold, and overall disappointing. The service was equally as bad which made it worse. I’m pretty sure the only thing hot in the building was the gossip the staff kept standing behind the bar talking about.
This is a much try destination in NWA! This is such a fun place to enjoy a meal. The atmosphere is amazing with inside and beautiful outdoor seating.Play area for the kiddos on patio that is fenced in. It was so fun enjoying adult talk while the kiddo played safe beside us.The food was delicious and good portions. We had the fried pickles and smoked wing appetizers. Both delicious and crispy. For dinner we had The Barn appetizer to try all the meats with side of baked beans, half chicken with mac & cheese and kids tenders with mac & cheese. All were delicious! Our 7 year old told our server it was amazing! We did try the banana pudding as well. I do suggest adding bananas and more wafers, otherwise yummy. The service was fast and efficient. Our server Ava was attentive and super friendly. This will be a new must visit for our family!
Very good BBQ. Ribs were meaty and well proportional but the pull was not up to par on a tug. Pepper sauce was most definitely a plus if you like it spicy that is. Worth a try but don't have high expectations, the outside patio could be a game changer for some but that is the best they have to offer, judge for yourself.
Bad service the whole time. The first beer was mostly foam. I patiently waited to have another and after 15 min I had to ask. Most of the food was gone and that understand since it was 8pm. The biggest thing that bothered me was one of the employees shook a rug next to us as we ate. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve never been in such a rush to be done with a place. If restaurants move in to southern areas they should have some southern hospitality or just some sort of descent service.
Fantastic food, great service and atmosphere!

Bbq was great. The half smoked chicken was great. I love their tangy sauce. Parents ordered the Barn for a meal and everything was fantastic. Cant wait to go back.
Terrible management. Ordered a Burger, no dairy (allergy) Received a cheeseburger. 2nd round came covered in butter. I now have a plate with 2 burgers I can’t eat and fries which I was eating. Manager takes my plate says rudely, “you didn’t pay for all these” when I tried to retrieve my fries. Then…they charged us for everything.
I give this place a solid 4.5. Maybe not the best barbecue I’ve ever had but it was still pretty solid. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Mac and cheese although I do like that they used Tillamook, but my husband’s fried pickles were good. All the servers were friendly and our waiter was great!
Not too bad for my first time here a few weeks ago. This place seems like it would be fun in the summer time! The patio area looks nice. The food wasn’t too bad either. Worth a try!
Had lunch at the bar. The bar has a rather limited alcohol selection but is a full bar including liquor. Service was very good. Good was really good. The layered tamale was outstanding. There queso was too close to cheese whiz for our liking but once piled up with pork it was fine. The pork, the beans, the slaw and fried pickles were all really good as well. Massive outdoor seating area with lots of TV's and music.
