This restaurant has a nice feel on the top floor of a new hotel. Great view of the city. Not too loud. We started at the bar as we arrived earlier than our reservation. The bartender made us great French 75 cocktails even though they were not on the menu. Dinner was very good. We split a filet ($63) and added collards (excellent) and French fries (ok). The Caesar salad was excellent and big enough to share which we did. Good wine selection. The wait staff was also bringing tables free food. We got mushrooms and meatballs. The table next to us received a large shrimp cocktail. Service was excellent. We would return.

The Steak was cooked to perfection. Oysters were extremely fresh and clean. Brandy was getting after it on the service, truly top notch service. We will definitely be back.

The new Oak Steakhouse in Rogers brings a polished but comfortable take on elevated Southern cuisine, and it fits the area really well. The space feels upscale without being stiff — warm lighting, clean lines, and a relaxed energy that makes it good for a date night or a nicer night out with friends. Service is professional but still friendly, which matches the overall vibe.

The menu leans Southern, but in a way that feels thoughtful rather than heavy. The duck was the standout for me. It was cooked exactly right, with crisp skin and a deep, rich flavor that didn’t get lost behind unnecessary sauces. It’s the kind of dish that shows the kitchen knows what it’s doing.

The carrots with feta were another favorite — simple, but elevated. The sweetness of the carrots with the salty feta made the dish surprisingly memorable, and it worked well alongside the main courses. It’s one of those sides you don’t expect to think about later, but you do.

The cocktails also impress. They’re balanced, not overly sweet, and clearly crafted with intention. You can tell someone put real thought into the drink menu.

Overall, Oak Steakhouse delivers refined Southern dishes in a setting that feels special without trying too hard. It’s exactly the kind of place you want in a growing food scene.

The service was outstanding and the added unique touches made the experience feel personal. Some of their food is locally sourced! We tried a number of appetizers and every one of them hit the spot, from the pork belly and jalapeño cornbread to the bone marrow and crab cake. The steak was cooked to perfection and they offer shareable sides, the mac needs a little work. SMORE SUNDAE IS A MUST! The staff cleaned crumbs off the table, refreshed our silverware and plates, and truly made our special occasion feel special. The ambience and warmth of the restaurant was unique and elegant

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Oak Steakhouse! We planned our anniversary dinner there and I am so happy we did. From the reservation call to the end of dinner, the service was exceptional. We arrived to a beautiful candlelit table complete with a personalized card signed by the staff. We had a couple of polaroid pictures taken of us as we toasted complimentary champagne. The ambiance was beautiful. The food was delectable. We had the Oysters Rockefeller to start which were fantastic! The Gruyère popovers were cheesy and fluffy. We split the short rib entree with Gorgonzola grits and broccolini that u could cut with a spoon… it was so tender and full of flavor. The old fashioned is the best I have ever had. The manager, Saree was perfection! She was there from the start doing everything she could to make the night special for us. You can just tell that she leads the staff with kindness and an incredible knowledge of the food and perfect service. She and our waiter Earl were fun to chat with and provided amazing service. I have worked the industry most of my life and I was truly impressed. It almost made me want to apply for a job there. LOL. Thank you to everyone that made our night memorable and special. I will be referring everyone I know and will definitely be back! Cheers!

I have been here a few times and each time I have had very very slow service. The 1st few times the food was great but the last time the food was cold, green beans well undercooked and bread doughy.I waited over 25 minutes for the check after making the request.I barely made it home before experiencing explosive diarrhea.I believe caused by the undercooked food. The waitress was very nice but provided poor service, may not be to any fault of their own but that falls on management for understaffing.

This is a steakhouse on the top floor of the Avail hotel in Rodgers. There is a nice view of the area. The good: It is a very well-done restaurant with a high-end feel. The greeting, staff, and service is very good. A large well stocked bar and wine list. The bar tenders were friendly, accommodating, and overall excellent. At dinner, they have a nice selection of steaks; all available with various toppings should you desire. The raw bar has a nice oyster service. Other dishes including chicken, pork, fish, and duck are available. There is a very good selection of appetizers, salads, and sides to share. I suggest the mushroom side with your steak. The Parker House Rolls are great. The not so good: The steaks were good, but not great. They lacked some tenderness and a good surface sear. The Coq Au Vin lacked a depth of flavor. The price point here is at the extreme high end for steak houses. Overall, it is a good experience, but particularly at these prices it has not achieved a 5-star status.
