Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

We thought this place would have Chicago pizza, it did not. Was terrible and never going again. Should not be on open table. This place is similar style to Chili's or similar

We love this place! The service on our last visit was wonderful, and everyone made us feel welcome. It was my son’s birthday, and he had a group of friends with him—the staff was patient, attentive, and truly made the night special.
That said, as someone who has been going to Old Chicago for years, I do want to mention a concern. I’ve seen firsthand how hard the staff works, often on long shifts of 12+ hours, and it’s disappointing that the owner, AJ, doesn’t seem to show much consideration for the employees who keep this business running. For example, the upstairs A/C units were removed, which makes it uncomfortable for both staff and guests, so we now only sit downstairs.
The food and service are always great, but I hope management begins valuing their employees more, as they are the ones who truly make this place successful..

Extremely busy Sun nights but cranked it all out - small issues were overly compensated -great staff and mgmt was shoulder to shoulder in the trenches! Well done

Pizza and calzones are very good but selection is limited. Don't get wings as they're a bit puny and many of mine still had feathers! Service is average.

Great experience. We arrived at 5:30pm on Friday and we're seated promptly as a party of 4, waitress was excellent and very attentive, food was good, as expected. Being from Chicago I probably have unreasonable expectations for Chicago style pizza, and this one was acceptable. Others in party were very pleased with their orders (cheese pizza & chicken fingers) and my son, the self-declared Mac & cheese expert, declared it one of the best he has ever had.

Pizza is very delicious, and reasonably priced. We had about a 20 minute wait on a Friday evening which wasn’t terrible. There are a lot of beer options as well for those interested in that. Definitely took home some leftovers.
