Beautiful location however the staff seemed cold and gave our coffees and pastries to go even though we informed them we wanted to dine in. The line was pretty long but it was a Saturday morning when we arrived there, I ordered a basic vanilla latte and I don’t have any complaints but its also nothing to rave about.

Let me start off and say the coffee and food are fantastic. Noticed today their tip presets are 20%, 25%, and 30%. 20% is perfect. But more just to take my order and make a coffee? You don’t even do table service. Pay your dang employees enough. That’s all.

I really wanted to love Onyx, and it's a beautiful space with a fantastic reputation. I'll give them credit for being bold and innovative with their menu. However, my turmeric latte was just a little too bold for my taste. I appreciate the health benefits and the unique flavor, but it honestly tasted like they put enough turmeric in there to repel bugs. It was just a bit overpowering and left me longing for a more balanced cup. I'm a bigger fan of Airship's coffee, which I think has a more consistent and approachable flavor profile. I'll probably give Onyx another shot and just stick to a classic pour-over next time, because their standard coffee is supposed to be amazing.

I feel like I was one of the last in the area to experience Onyx and upon entering I can see what the hype is about. I was very impressed with the chic atmosphere and the quality of what they serve (some merch available as well).
I very much enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. Quality ingredients and the chopped egg gives it a nice unique texture that I feel like is not common to other breakfast sandwiches with similar ingredients. Really tasty. I always have to get a latte when I get the chance so I had that as well. I would say it was very well made, but pretty standard and not flavored (unless I missed additional flavor options...if so, my bad!).
It was pretty busy on the day we went. Seems business is booming but you might need to be prepared for a little wait.

I visited the Rogers location on Saturday Aug.16th at 10:15 a.m. My coffee order was a Cortado, extra hot. I watched in the entire process from the cashier to the back counter where my name was called. It took so long for it to make its way down the assembly line is was room temperature when I received it. There were so many iced drinks being prepared that an order for something hot was not going to be possible. No one was expediting orders, the server was also preparing food orders while beverages sat and waited; it is not an efficient process. I asked at the counter if they could warm my coffee up but was told no, they could make another. I had no confidence a second would be any different than the first. I reached out by chat but their bot never got back to me. I also sent an email to their listed email address and once again, no one reached out to me. It made me feel that Onyx Coffee Lab Headquarters offers no customer service whatsoever. I made 3 contacts to Onyx, I received ZERO from them. I’m a regular customer and that kind of non-service is unacceptable. My summation is making cold coffee takes precedence over customer service or satisfaction.

The atmosphere is nice. The price is astronomical for a coffee and a pastry. The coffee is just ok and the pastry was good but the sugar glaze on top was too sweet. The service was good. I got some instant coffee to take back to Colorado for my husband. $12 for 6 instant coffee sleeves is pricey even for Colorado and not what I expected in Arkansas.

I have been to Onyx a handful of times. I’m from Kansas City and every time I’m in NW Arkansas I have to stop by at least once, if not a few times. During my most recent visit I decided to try the breakfast sandwich. LOOK AT THIS THICC BACON. It was so delicious, I would drive 3 hours for this again.

Onyx Coffee Lab is one of the MOST beautiful and thoughtfully designed coffee shops I have ever visited. I could stay there for hours. The space is filled with natural light and decorated with lush greenery and plants 🪴, which gives it a fresh, calming atmosphere. The modern design mixed with organic elements makes it feel both stylish and welcoming. So perfect for slowing down and enjoying the moment.
I love the seasonal menu they offer and my onyx delight certainly was delightful. They also have a gift shop section.
One of my favorite parts was getting to watch the pastry team work behind a glass window, creating everything from scratch right there on-site. It added such a special, handcrafted feel to the experience. The environment is quiet and focused, making it an ideal space for studying, remote work, or casual meetings. With high-quality coffee, fresh pastries, and an inspiring setup, Onyx Coffee Lab is a place I will definitely return to.

We did the Espresso 101 class today with Vanessa and it was the coolest experience that I’ve had in years! Vanessa and her team were so knowledgeable and it was perfect for novices like myself. She went out of her way to make us feel included and her instructions were so easy that we felt confident we could pull a great shot and do latte hearts. I would 100% do this class again and recommend it to anyone.
