I ordered guacamole dip, and there was hardly any avocado in it. Most of it was vegetables. When I showed a waiter a picture of creamy guacamole like what I'd like to have and requested it he said he can't do that.

I've eaten here several times, but this was the first time that my rice and beans were warm and not hot. Normally, it's a perfect meal, but not today. There were only 2 tacos with rice and beans. That is all. It could have been a better lunch.

This place has good potential. The food is good, but the service lacks people skills. I've been there various times, and all the waitresses we've had don't greet or even look happy to be doing their job. They don't even check on you once the food is served.
I have been searching forever to find this food. Moving from Arizona almost 7 years ago. I couldn’t get the authentic Mexican we were used to. I cannot say ENOUGH about this place! It is a 10 star! The grilled jalapeños and onions, the RED sauce I’ve been searching for. Chile poblano's the guac, the carne tacos, I could go on. It is the BEST Mexican I’ve ever had. Love this place. I will be dropping in for 20 oz cups of red and green sauce to store in my fridge always.

After reading so many good and bad reviews I decided to give this place a try for myself, first time here and it won't be the last! The place itself is small but the service was good, our waiter was very friendly. The chip salsa was a bit watery but I did not mind it all, it had a good kick to it. I was afraid to order chilaquiles and be disappointed but these were so good! The salsa they used was spicy, the steak had great seasoning and the beans and rice were delicious, it reminded me of home (TX). My boyfriend ordered a burrito drenched in melted cheese of course and he said it was great, it did have lots of onion to his liking though so next time he'll be ordering with none. I also had a agua de Jamaica and it was very satisfying! Definitely will be coming back and trying more of their food! 10++++ Thank you for your outstanding service Taqueria Real Jacona (:
