I went to this restaurant with a friend, and the food was really good. But our waitress seemed more interested in getting tips than taking care of us. She forgot my friend's ice cream, and it seemed like she cared more about getting us to pay than making sure we had everything we needed. She also didn't speak to us very nicely. Because of this, I don't think I'll go back to this restaurant again. I think it's better when servers focus on helping customers instead of just trying to get tips.
This place is amazing! The food and staff are so wonderful, we come in early every Saturday just to talk to the waitresses. They are so accommodating. 10/10 service
Not to mention the food is so good!!! The sushi is top shelf and never ending. I would go there everyday if I could but I have to rein myself in for once (or twice) a week!
Literally one of the worst experience ever!! Our server zhen or shen was so disrespectful. I paid with card but I was planning on tipping in cash instead, however when she came back to pick up the receipt she was yelling at us looking for the receipt claiming that I had written $10 down for tips. She kept raising her voice saying “where’s the receipt I saw u put down $10!!” When we saw her acting like that it made us lose our appetite and we just wanted to get out as soon as possible so we asked for a reprinted receipt and just signed it and took the $20 I was planning on tipping back.
Great Food and staff
For a buffet, this was surprisingly good. There is a great variety of rolls, sushi and some sushimi. Lots of sides. The hot foods looked great. I only tried the teriyaki chicken which was well flavored. I had spicy tuna, jalapeno, and Philly rolls. All were very good. 3 of us ate for $75. Much less expensive than a traditional sushi restaurant.
There was a small wait but entirely worth it. My first time in so I tried a little bit of a lot of things. Didn't get anything I didn't like!
Tokyo House is consistently good. The food is fresh, the buffet is filled and the sushi is awesome! You should give it a try.
I was really upset when I seen the shrimp was not cleaned out. This is one of the only places that I will eat a buffet but after seeing that they don’t clean their shrimp makes me wonder how many other corners they are cutting.
This place was fantastic! I came on a Sunday lunch and eat the buffet. Everything was fresh and hot, the dishes the food was served out of was clean and very well presented. The sushi was all labeled and some of the more different kinds of rolls had the ingredients, which was very helpful. Each food buffet was stocked. The waitress filled out cups in a timely manner and removed places when we were done also in a timely manner. Was very impressed with the variety of options! This place is definitely going to be a new favorite for this area!
2 months ago it was $20. Now it is $27 each dinner buffet
Restaurantji Recommends
A whole buffet, definitely a place worth the drive !!
I was charged my bill with the tip I left and then charged a 2nd time with just the tip amount I left. They double tipped themselves. not cool.
I’m obsessed with this place!!!! Best customer service, fresh sushi and overall just great food! Highly recommend!!
Favorite place to eat
Food was amazing and front host was nice. However, waited too long for our table to be cleaned despite the front letting us know it was ready. We stood with our plates for about 10 min. Some of us never received drink refills but they were very quick to send the check. Would go back but not during peak times. I hope they don’t lose anymore quality.
