Great food! Great decor! Great service! Top your meal off with a homemade desert and I promise you'll leave more than satisfied and planning a return trip.

First, we just ate at a local cafe in Mena AR and this one would beat it easily. The ladies were kind and the owner is a walking tourist map especially if you are a bicyclist. She knows her area well. The food...great. Put this place on your map. We come to Arkansas alot and we will be back of sure.

I had the chef salad. It was fair, nothing special. I also had the fried pickles. They were not good. Too much breading. They were gooey not crispy. My brother had the French dip sandwich. The meat was dry but the bun was greasy and the au ju was just canned brown gravy. And to add insult to injury. They charged us $43.00.

Very good food from very friendly people. A must if you're in the area.

Looking for an out of the way cafe style place to eat? Looking for good food and inexpensive pricing? Ask Mike and he’ll probably set you straight that the Crystal Springs Mercantile and Cafe is the place to go. Mike is the resident waitress when the help doesn’t show up. He’s also the cooks husband and owner. When we visited he suggested the liver and onions and or the lil bit burger. We opted for the burger and were not disappointed. Not a fancy place but good enough for a good meal. The restrooms are very clean as well as the country style cafe setting. If you want to eat good food or get your a/c fixed just ask Mike he’ll get you sorted out in a hurry!
