Comfortable and welcoming! Delicious country perfect fried chicken and sides. Only disappointment was they were out of pie but the blackberry cobbler was spectacular. Super nice staff. Can’t wait to go back!Vegetarian options: Southern flavor reminds me of mother’s great country cooked vegetables.Parking: No problem. Ample free parking.Kid-friendliness: Easy family atmosphere.

This was our first time eating here, but it sure won’t be our last. The food is home-style cooking and was delicious. Healthy portions, cooked to perfection, and very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. Our server was named Mermaid and that alone made her special. She was quite helpful with recommendations of what to eat. The atmosphere was ‘feel good’ comfortable. The meatloaf as our entree and pecan cheesecake for dessert were outstanding. Sunshine Cafe isn’t on the main drag, but was well worth the 2 or 3 mile ‘departure’ off Hwy 70.

Meatloaf, fried chicken and sides were excellent in the past. Today for lunch worse fries in my life. Fish small but ok. $15.00 for 3 piece and fries, no slaw, no hushpuppies.

Friendly folks and delicious breakfast! We were shopping for a retirement home and wanted a hot home cooked breakfast. It was awesome. I had the loaded omelette. The ingredients were all fresh. No frozen or powdered anything. Definitely will go back since we did, in fact, buy in the area

The new owner & manager have Totally reinvented SUNSHINE STORE & CAFE. More tables, new interior design, revamped menu, and the best wait-staff and Chef in the area. The pies, desserts, and local raw honey are in the register. A real Hidden gem , they also have TAKE-OUT.

Fabulous food and service. We bought food, literally enough to feed a football team, and they were prompt; the food was excellent and hot!

This is the perfect little spot to grab a meal as I head into town. I normally have breakfast and it's just so good. I don't eat eggs so it's usually the ridiculously good biscuits and gravy or this hash brown surprise yummy goodness they make and I can never finish because it's too much. If you stop in I promise you won't be disappointed.

You have got to order the grilled chicken! The coconut cream pie is the best!? Well worth eating here. I chose this place for my Birthday Dinner.

The waitress was the sweetest, the food just okay. Very expensive for what you get. The owner walked through several times never spoke to anyone that's just not good business. They had depressing news on a large tv playing really loud. I probably won't return.

Amazing service and the best breakfast we've had in a long time. This place is off the beaten path and well worth the drive. The staff is extremely friendly and offered incredible information about Hot Springs things to do.

If in Hot Springs visit things establishment. Not much to look at from the outside but friendly staff and home cooked meals. The burgers are large and well cooked. The fries are home made and delicious. Cakes homemade and sliced to eat there or to go.
