Mashed potatoes were gluey and were served with no more than a tablespoon of gravy to offset. Got the hamburger steak. The flavor was okay but again no gravy. Most of the vegetables were burnt black and unrecognizable. The peppers however were cooked just to the point where the skin began to blister and hung in your throat. Great old-school Western steakhouse vibe — rustic, cozy, and true to its roots. The food matched the atmosphere: hearty, well-cooked, and satisfying. Prices were fair for the quality and portions. I left full and happy. Would definitely return.
Stopped in while on a road trip. Was looking for a local steakhouse not like these generic chains, something authentic. We both had the Ribeye special. Steaks were cooked to perfection and was tender and seasoned wonderfully. Service was very good and atmosphere was fantastic. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.
