Food was pretty good although more limited than mainstream buffets nowadays, still definitely want to return here.

It’s a good buffet or order style restaurant. Good for lunch or dinner. I sure like Fri/Sat where there a frog legs on the buffet. Although you can order them anytime as well.

For catfish pieces they have some of the best.

I just didn't love it. The buffet was limited and the food was oddly cooked. It wasn't worth the money.

The food was very good I ate mostly from salad bar but it tasted fresh and husband ate buffet which he liked very well will go back price very reasonable. Very friendly.

This buffet restaurant is very clean. The staff is amazingly friendly. I don’t usually
Care for buffet
Style eating but Check-H has a large selection of proteins, fruits and vegetables along with great old style southern consumer food items.

If you don’t want buffet, you can order from a menu board.

There’s something there for everyone! The price is moderate for the selection.

The atmosphere is okay… like any clean, basic, small
Town
Restaurant.

On July 22nd we decided to go to Check H again, after going on Mother's Day. Our first visit was very good. Everything was very fresh and delicious. We were very impressed. today was a different story all together. I could have chose a different restaurant in fact there's a new one in Russellville that I wanted to try but it was so good here the last time I opted to go there again. my husband and I both were very disappointed. to start off with the salad bar needed attention. the kale was a yellow orange color, (gross) the baby spinach and arugula was wilted and some pieces were even wet. I politely pointed this out to an employee who quickly changed all three. so after that my salad was decent. I tried three different entrees and never got anything that was edible. the chicken livers were undercooked, I tried a Chinese dish that looked like sweet and sour chicken it was cold and disgusting, so I tried what looked like hamburger steak with onions and it was cold and very greasy. so I then tried some fried okra that was mushy and drowning in grease. It was 2:00 when we arrived and for a restaurant to make it you have to maintain consistency I don't care what time of the day it is whether it's a holiday or not the food should be fresh and hot. if you cannot maintain consistency you will lose customer s. I'm really mad now because I could have spent my $40 and went to Sam's Southern eatery. I won't make that mistake again. Check H you need to do better. there are several new restaurants in Russellville and if you at all want to be competitive, things here need to change and be addressed. oh to be fair my baked potato was very good.

We ate here for the first time this evening. They had a good variety of foods, and it was all fresh & very good. The desserts are delicious!! We fish a lot, and we are very particular about how are fish are cleaned before being cooked... we don't like fish most places, but their fish was VERY good! My husband got seconds of the catfish even, which is unheard of for him! He got to talk to the owner and compliment him on the fish (and other foods). Dale is very nice and takes pride in what he offers to customers. We will definitely eat there again and will recommend it to others....... you should go! You won't leave hungry, that's for sure!!!

Chicken liver was good could use more breading and there is one livers I got has a bitter taste. The beef stew was raw and the chicken was undercooked. The beans were good, better than the other beans I ate at other restaurants. Overpriced for the kind of variety of food you get. It is a lower class of Golden Coral. Friendly staff and friendly customers. You get one plate from the counter then you will have to wait for the server to bring you one for your next round then you have to ask again for another one if you want to eat more. There was no soup on only chili. I like the way they serve the salad dressing cause it is on kind of like a pitcher than scooping it from the pan.
