I went on a Friday afternoon, ordered brisket with fries & Mac and cheese for the two sides… food was warm, the brisket had no flavor and very dry. The macaroni was just noodles with Kraft sandwich cheese congealed together, fries were equally disappointing. I assumed with the reviews this place was going to be great… I hope they change or update the recipes.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and mac and cheese as the two sides. The pulled pork was drier than the Sahara desert. The meat looked very pale too. Mac and cheese well...it was bland too. Potato salad was fine. The brisket was in the same boat of lacking everything in flavor and seasoning. Everything just seemed to be lacking in flavor and didn't look as if it was fresh neither. Temperature of the food was lukewarm at best. I don't know if it was because I came on a Friday afternoon or what; but this was a huge miss. I figured after reading all the glowing reviews prior to coming here that something good was going on in here. That definitely was not the case after all was said and done. The service was good at least, I will say that. I think the environment could be improved upon as well. Meshing the bar with people coming in simply for a bite to eat can be off-putting to those just wanting a quiet and peaceful time to eat.

The food was good. We've eaten there several times since moving to Russelville. Tonight, the service sucked. Our waitress had no personality and was extremely inattentive. We had to ask for a booster seat for our granddaughter 3 times. My glass was empty for half of my meal before she even came back to the table to check on us. She made us feel like we were bothering her.We even handed her the catsup bottle and said it was empty. Her response was "ok". She took the bottle and didn't bother to bring another.

Oh my goodness!!! The food is unreal and such a great price for what you get. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The blueberry margarita is amazing!!! YUM!

The restaurant decor is simple. It made me wonder if the food was going to be that way, but once you get past the reception desk (more about that later), there is a good choice of entrees, not just Bar-B-Que fare. The deserts are good as well. There wonderful iced-tea will be needed to wash down the burgers. Unfortunately, they only make them one way, we'll done and dried out. They're thick, but trust me, you need a large tea to wash it down. I'd suggest the sweet potato fries and fried mushrooms. Very good! Portions are large and presented with cheap silverware, but they get the job done. There's a bit of irony at the reception counter. The young gal was bright and cheery, the older gal was grumpy and when asking about the T-shirts in the display case, it was as though I was asking for her to do her job and actually be of service less the attitude! A big turn-off. The better T-shirts are on display, but not available. Go figure. We went at 3:00 pm, so there were few people there. One more thing, the meat is flame grilled, not fried.
Okay, not great. We've had a lot of Arkansas bbq in addition to Texas, KC, St Louis, and of course Memphis. This was good but not memorable or good enough that we can't wait to return. The service was very nice and efficient so no complaints there at all. The location and restaurant itself are good. The food was just a little lackluster. Now, I admit the competition in Arkansas for bbq is pretty intense. I wouldn't tell someone not to eat here. But don't expect it to be Wright's or McClard's. Still, if you're hungry and want bbq, it's worth trying.

Ordered loaded brisket potatoes logs and got home and they only had cheese.... we love 45 min away from this location... so was defiantly disappointment when we got home to eat. :/ hope they make this right. Next time I'll check my places before I leave.

One of the few good places to eat in Russellville. We’re from KC and desperately miss how good the food was there. Nothing is remotely worth it in town except Fat Daddy’s and a few other places! Everything else is too fried and has no flavor. This place has good tasting food! Pulled pork is my fave and the BBQ sauce is delicious. We get the mixed sauce. My Dad says Donna is always helpful when he orders over the phone!
