“I love sumos don’t get me wrong me and my boyfriend go in there just about once every week. I’ve enjoyed my experience every time, food is always amazing and delicious (also plenty to take home and enjoy later) but I have to say I’ve had the same server the last three times I’ve went in there (Jayda) her attitude is honestly awful I never say anything but the last two times I didn’t tip due to lack of service and rolling her eyes the whole time. Well today she didn’t want to take us for dine in hibachi so she had our host lie and tell us we could only dine in on the other side. I felt something was off bc the look I got when I walked in. I sat there and watched all the host and servers walking around. I seen one server I’m unsure of her name mouth “did you tell them no” then I got irratated. Finally as my boyfriend was asking what the issue was I asked to speak to the manager. Her face dropped almost like she knew she was about to get caught. The manager (Mr Rickey who I have to say is honestly amazing and really shows he cares for the restaurant and the people) came up asked what was wrong and I told him we were told we couldn’t dine in and he was confused. He said he would get us menus even if we didn’t tip it wasn’t the problem that all that matters is we eat and have a good time. He walked us to our seats we sat down and Jayda came up no smile and said what do yall want to drink. I wanted to laugh and ask what her issue was but all I cared about was getting my food before they closed. She didn’t check on us not once. She kept her distance bc she knew we told the manager what had happened. Mr. Ricky came up to us again and apologized I told him again in better words what really happened and he couldn’t believe it. He checked on us gave us a discount (that he really didn’t have to, but we appreciate it) finally we get to the end and she walked up sat the check down and walked away. We payed and on our way out the door was the host standing from the other side of the room walking to her car. She turned around and went to talk to us and I asked honestly if she had just seen all that and she said yes. She was trying to figure out what was going on and when she did she couldn’t believe it. I’m sure the situation is getting handled but all to say every time I come in there she is that way and it’s no server hospitality. If you don’t like the job and what you have to do maybe you should look for something else. Anyways everything besides that was amazing. And we appreciate Mr. Ricky for stepping in and helping. We will be back but we won’t have the same server.“

“Majority of the time they are fantastic but tonight they were not on their game. They charged me someone else's order but refunded it, then gave me the wrong order. I had to drive back to get the correct one. Again normally they are fantastic, but tonight was one of the worst experiences.“
