The specials menu was interesting.
I have been eating here for 25+ years. This place used to be amazing especially the one by ATU. But now they have cut way down on the portions but still raised the prices. Tacos have almost no meat or cheese in them. Mostly all they use is cheap fake nacho cheese on everything. It used to be shredded cheese. They have cut the salsa bar after covid, switched to hot sauce packets that were ok, and then switched to a different brand of hot sauce that is inedible. They dont even put then packets out anymore for you to get. You have to ask for them. Sad to say, but I will not be back unless I hear things have changed.

South Dakota Native and southern transplant. Driving through Arkansas and this was a nice treat to remind me of home. Need more of these throughout the country

Haven't came here in years probably won't again. I think the gave us the wrong chicken in the burrito and the steak burrito sure didn't taste like steak..more like beef stew. Nasty.

We had a really disappointing experience at Taco John’s. While the service from the employees was polite and efficient, the food itself was a major letdown.
We ordered two quesadillas and three different tacos, but every item tasted exactly the same—bland and indistinguishable. The hashbrowns were so salty that I had to stop eating them after just two bites. Even worse, the chips were extremely stale, like they'd been sitting out for days. They were so bad we ended up going to Dollar General to buy chips just so we could eat the queso.
Speaking of which, the queso was the only edible thing we got. For $40, getting one decent item out of an entire meal is beyond frustrating. Unfortunately, this experience has made it clear—we won’t be coming back.
This was the worst fast food taco place I've ever been to in my life. The service was also really horrible. My husband and I took one or two bites of our food and it was disgusting. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. IMO it should be closed !
Taco John's was a quick run in and get what we needed. Their service was great and the staff was very friendly!

I have not been there in 40. Years, but since, because I walked past it while I was walking down the street, Google assumes that I went there recently. They had crap food in the 80s , and I doubt it has changed.
Guy at the window was very rude. Does not know any customer service.
Horrible it absolutely ruined me on tacos.
12/30/24: I haven't had TJ's in 5-7 years and it was exactly how I remembered it. Delicious and great service!
