We had a really disappointing experience at Taco John’s. While the service from the employees was polite and efficient, the food itself was a major letdown.

We ordered two quesadillas and three different tacos, but every item tasted exactly the same—bland and indistinguishable. The hashbrowns were so salty that I had to stop eating them after just two bites. Even worse, the chips were extremely stale, like they'd been sitting out for days. They were so bad we ended up going to Dollar General to buy chips just so we could eat the queso.

Speaking of which, the queso was the only edible thing we got. For $40, getting one decent item out of an entire meal is beyond frustrating. Unfortunately, this experience has made it clear—we won’t be coming back.

This was the worst fast food taco place I've ever been to in my life. The service was also really horrible. My husband and I took one or two bites of our food and it was disgusting. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. IMO it should be closed !

Taco John's was a quick run in and get what we needed. Their service was great and the staff was very friendly!

I have not been there in 40. Years, but since, because I walked past it while I was walking down the street, Google assumes that I went there recently. They had crap food in the 80s , and I doubt it has changed.

12/30/24: I haven't had TJ's in 5-7 years and it was exactly how I remembered it. Delicious and great service!

The window guy was very rude! Handing me my drink before food bag I ask for a napkin (so I could wipe off the cup before I put it in my cupholder) he rudely says give me your money first and I say it’s not like I’m going to drive off with this drink and not pay. He handed napkin outand let it fall to the ground and I told him he dropped it and he told me I could pick it up! I told him I would not and he was being rude and disrespectful. I’m a 73-year-old grandmother. I do not appreciate this. My two teenage grandchildren were with me stating he was very rude. I told him I would tell his boss he said I’m sure you will and that he didn’t care. He kept being very rude with his mouth and stare! I left. This is not acceptable to me I have and do work with the public for 42 years now they are the customer would never let one of my employees talk to someone like this.

Do not eat here. Terrible customer service. At the window guy didn’t say a word and just reached his hand out for my card. Then was missing items and what I did get was either cold or incomplete. Idk if this place is under new management or what but it used to be great.

I paid $9 for a floppy burrito.. I can get more filling out of a $2 burrito from Taco Bell. Taco John's was a lot better when it was located on Hwy 7. Super disappointing!
