A much better Cracker Barrel type experience! Chicken fried chicken is delicious with a thick, juicy piece of breast with a good deal of breading that isn’t overkill. The mash taters are thick and hot. Okra is tender, not crunchy. Sweet tea is sweight, which is why I loved it. The homemade rolls are good if you like an extremely soft, airy roll. If you’re traveling on U.S. 65 between Conway, AR. and Branson, MO., stop off at Ferguson’s County Store for their wonderful cinnamon rolls and homemade old-fashioned meals. It’s a great break in the Ozark mountains.
Food was amazing and all the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. We went at lunch on a Sunday and it was busy, but we didn’t have a long wait to be seated. It’s good home style cooking and everything seemed really fresh. Also the pricing is extremely reasonable for a family of four to eat it was less than $40.
