Coming from a state that has many good sushi restaurants it's been a struggle to find good sushi here in Arkansas. We finally made it to Costano's and we were not disappointed. It is just as good as the sushi restaurants in CA and by far the best sushi in AR. It might even be better than the CA sushi restaurants because the portions are huge. I normally can eat 2-3 rolls but here at Castano's we each could only finish 1.5 max and that includes my teenage sons and husband. Nice to finally have a great sushi restaurant here in Searcy.

They remodeled and it is such a bright and enjoyable experience. The waitress and Sushi Chefs were very friendly and courteous. I had the Lady and it was exceptional.
The food was delicious but the experience was poor. First of all, we were one of three groups in there, where they had seating for maybe twenty groups in total. They sat us at one of their cheap booths right behind another group so we weren't able to use the back rest without jostling them. The cushions were almost non existent. It felt like someone laid a thin blanket over metal springs. Then we had to wait 15 minutes to order, and once we finally did, it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. During that wait, the other party left, and someone promptly came to spray industrial strength cleaner on their table right next to us. Not something I want to smell and breathe while I'm eating. Lastly, when we were handed our ticket, the waitress refused to take payment and said we have to pay at the front register. I felt I was being generous by leaving a 10% tip, when I normally leave 20+%. I recommend ordering to go to enjoy the good food without dealing with all that mess.
