I dropped by Imago Dei last night since I'm visiting family in town. I was a student at Harding about four years ago, so my kneejerk option for coffee is MO, but I decided to branch out this time and I do not regret it.Full disclaimer, I was a speciality single-origin coffee roaster and barista in Alabama for two years, so my expectations for good coffee are EXTREMELY high. I can always tell when the coffee beans are not fresh, the milk is scalded, when too much flavoring is used, etc. Imago Dei got everything PERFECT. The crema on my 12oz latte was absolutely gorgeous and I always appreciate latte art. They used a "honey-roasted Guatemalan" for their espresso roast. I love the nutty, chocolate tasting notes of a Gautemalan origin and was thrilled that the espresso was prepared perfectly and smoothly and complimented the natural sweetness of the whole milk. I had also gotten one of their seasonal fall flavors, a sweet-spice flavor (I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me), and I was very happy that the flavor was not overwhelming and just a perfect amount for size I ordered. (My biggest pet peeve is when coffee drinks are so sweet with flavor I cannot taste the actual coffee. I have thrown many costly drinks because of this).Their presentation was also meticulous and impressive. I was expecting my latte placed beside me, *maybe* with a saucer (that's really a 50/50 chance), but instead received an entire tray. I didn't order an ice water, but recieved one anyways, which I appreciated since it helped me cleanse my palette every couple of minutes to enjoy my latte with renewed taste. There was no coffee running down the side of my cup. That extra bit of thought made me feel very special.I went on a Friday night and noticed that for a while that I was the only customer. While there was a sporting event happening on campus, it made me a bit sad. I know it's close to campus and I would have loved coming as a student, however I do admit the trek past Gin Creek and across Beebe Capps would have made me reconsider- especially since the visibility isn't great after dark. I really hope that more Harding students will go to Imago Dei to study (maybe I just came on a lull night), because I think it's a worthy and impressive business in the Searcy area.

Starbucks is better and that’s saying something.Double shot of espresso or not, I will go to 7brew, get a large and second cup, split said drink, and set a $5 bill on fire and still be cheaper.Only saving grace is the service was decent

Wonderful coffee shop for Searcy Cars & Coffee yesterday (07/22/23) morning. Delicious, well made lattes and toasted bagels. Lots of other lunch goodies to chose from as well. Plenty of parking and a wonderful place for an #ArkansasDodgeGang fundraiser for the Searcy Public School District.

Came in after long weekend of work and expected the same old coffee and coffee shop that you'd see anywhere, but was pleasantly surprised to find amazing coffee and moist warm muffin. It was served quickly and presentation was great and the price was just right. The only flaw I could give is the atmosphere, lots of open space unused could use some dividers to give the illusion of a more private experience.
Attended a meeting at Imageo Dei. The meeting room was convenient, comfortable and quiet. Staff allowed us to open a tab and brought each order to the meeting room. Coffee was delicious and service was excellent.

Recently visited. Our table had coffee drinks which were not only very good but beautifully artistic and the lemonade was delicious. The staff was welcoming and went out of their way to make the visit a great experience. It was a very clean and open atmosphere. Other customers appeared to be.having a great time. Will certainly visit again when in the area.

I absolutely LOVE this place. There is a huge, exciting, and DELICIOUS menu to try. Also, it’s a wonderful place to study or meet up with friends. Extremely unique and a perfect addition to our town. I can’t rave enough about the fresh pressed charcoal lemonade! Not only is it tasty, but it is refreshing and good for you too! The nitro options are supreme *chef’s kiss* I’ve never had a better nitro coffee. Have I mentioned they have boba? YUMMY YUMMY. You’re missing out if you haven’t been to Imago Dei!

Imago Dei has amazing drinks from an extremely knowledgeable and talented staff. All the options can be overwhelming, but they do a great job at explaining and helping you get the perfect drink! It has such a fun atmosphere and we love our outings to Imago Dei!
