I have traveled all over the United States and consumed bbq food. Knight fire craft bbq is without a doubt the BEST top to bottom bbq I have ever had. I travel 11 hours from central Iowa to Searcy for work and this place makes every second of that 11 hour drive worth it. Shout out to the owner who’s a very friendly awesome guy.
Restaurant was filled with smoke from the kitchen cooking. I do not want to smell like smoke.
After seeing countless post on fb I finally got a chance to taste what some call the best bbq in the state. It'll take a few visits to verify those statements. This was my first time and I wanted to experience the signature hitters. I ordered a smoked burger, 1/2 rack of ribs, and a brisket sandwich w/slaw.
First the burger. The buns buttery toasted goodness. The burger..clearly smoked to perfection and was thicker than I was expecting but delicious. I'm a big guy and after eating it I looked at the ribs & brisket and thought, oh dear...lol, I might not finish this.
Next I try the ribs. Again, smoked to perfection, tender, but NOT fall off the bone. How a competition style ribs should be. These ribs, which were cut uniformly and peppered to the heavens, are really meaty. I easily cleaned tender meat from three of the six bones and pulled up to leave room for the last meat. The ribs could use a sprinkle of dry rub to go with the heavy pepper imo.
Last, the brisket sandwich and let me say I should've gotten several of these. Again, perfectly buttered toasted bun, the slaw which was decent, and a massive amount of the most tender, flavorful brisket I've had in a looong time. I bit into it and looked at it. Not dry at all even without the slaw. The fatty pieces in every other bite...mmh, yeeess! I did not want this sandwich to end. I live 2 hrs away and would drive to Searcy just for the brisket.
The atmosphere was laid back, spacious, with table style seating. Service was fast as I stood in line five minutes and received my food about ten minutes after ordering. The price was not a problem as I understand the effort it takes to produce a craft product. I'm really hoping I missed requesting some dry rub for the ribs or they'll add it as an option but either way I'll definitely be back.

I don’t know how in my years of eating at this wonderful barbecue place that I’ve never left a review.
Every time I come to Searcy for business, I try to hit one of my Searcy favorites.
I’ve had many options from this restaurant.
Brisket, burn ends, pork candy, smoked sausages, pulled pork.
I can honestly say that he dozens of times I have ordered takeout Have all been really good.
Brisket has always been tender, with that wonderful smoked fat that just dissolves in your mouth.
Pork Candy nothing like poor man burn ends with pork belly. They are tender and have wonderful flavor.
Smoked sausage is one of my favorites. I get it almost every single time I go by there.
The jalapeño cheddar is the go to choice. The spices and jalapeño cheddar just worked very well together and it’s smoked to perfect perfection.
Pulled pork is good and flavorful. It’s been a while since I’ve had it so I can’t recite exactly how it tasted.
Burnt ends are always a hit. If I get the fatty pieces then I love them and would eat two or 3 pounds of them over a weekend. If it’s the non-fatty pieces they’re OK. They have a little more chew to them than I like. But that doesn’t stop me from getting them when they are offered.
New location on race Street is easier to access and it’s got dine in options. I know that’s good for them. I still do takeout almost every time.
Until my next trip to Searcy!

This place is really good local BBQ. I have traveled the US and eat BBQ in most places. It was really good, fresh, and large portions of meat.
We got the nachos with brisket, loaded fries, sausage plate , and pork belly bites. Everything was awesome. The sasuage was not the best we have had but it was good.
They have pimento cheese and pickles which I think they make. They have swag if you are into that
The best bbq spot in searcy
First time eating here and I feel like I have been missing out. Hands down some of the best BBQ my husband and I have had. We order the brisket plate with slaw and potato salad, the rib plate with potato salad and baked beans, cucumber salad, and BBQ nachos. I will have dreams about those nachos, they are the best I have ever had. I mean, Bob Seger was on the radio and Anthony Bordain on the wall, I automatically knew this was my kind of place, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I can see why they sell out of their items, you can tell and taste that they take great pride in what they prepare and I appreciate that. The portions are huge. I took home 2 boxes of food. The staff were friendly and I will forever be grateful to the cashier that recommended the nachos. We will be back!
The BEST place for craft barbecue in the state! Its in an unassuming little building. But when you walk in the vibe is awesome. Good music, super nice staff, great furniture and art. And the food is second to none!
Amazing place. 10/10.
(We eat here once a week now😏)
