Best restaurant/Deli that I've been to in decades. The atmosphere is inviting and quiet, you can hear yourself thinking!!! The personnel are smiling and happy, they ask about you without being intrusive they talk about themselves and that invites a sense of trust. The food needs no reviews it is of the utmost quality and it is prepared with artistry and functionality. Even now, during this review, I'm eating a Reuben sandwich from McAlister's. It's perfect. Even cold, three hours after it was made, just divine!!!

The manager on site, Samantha, was extremely unprofessional. We had just purchased food for a party of 8 people and had asked one of the servers to help us order an additional cup of soup for an elderly member of our family, hoping they could take a card or something so we wouldn’t have to wait in the line that was all the way to the door. The manager refused and told us we’d have to wait in line. We then just called and ordered it online and when she realized it was us, she made my wife stand up at the counter for over 10 minutes waiting while the rest of us ate our food. I work for a successful restaurant in Nashville, TN and this kind of thing would never have been an issue. We wouldn’t have even made someone PAY for the 4oz container of soup, let alone try to teach someone a lesson over it. Her attitude was pretty ridiculous...

Always such a friendly atmosphere and great food. The staff is welcoming from the moment you walk in, the restaurant is always clean, and the service is quick and attentive. My order is always fresh, made just the way I asked, and the portions are generous for the price. Beware of ordering a potato and expecting the price to reflect the quality of what you will get. Ordered a Spud Max which is now almost $13 + tax. It was literally just a potato. It had almost no toppings.

My husband and I stopped in today for late lunch. Lunch crowd was over so restaurant was fairly empty, service was quick, food was good. But what made this trip really good is that there was gentleman in wheelchair near us wearing a veterans cap. One of the waitstaff came over to him and thanked him several times for his service. Then the care giver told everyone that the gentleman just celebrated his 90th birthday. Several of the staff acknowledged his birthday as well and then gave him a piece of carrot cake to celebrate.
This was an honor to witness honoring a veteran and celebration of his 90th birthday!!
