This place is great! We ordered two 2 piece catfish plates, Everything was perfect. The large catfish fillets were perfectly cooked. Not burnt and not an undercooked gooey mess. Hush puppies were excellent and the cole slaw was fresh made. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We didn't have to wait for anything. The food was great the first time I was here but this time I ordered ribeye steak and eggs and ordered my steak medium well and it came out in a puddle of blood. I sent it back to be cooked a little bit more so it was medium well and not rare. It came out burned and like leather so I didn't eat the $18 steak. Very disappointed.
Thefoodwas well worth traveling to get. The server was very accommodating and friendly. The portions of food were very large. Can't beat that grilled rye toast, 3 egg omelette and great coffee.
