Donut holes were pretty good. The maple bar was meh. Back in the day donuts used to be more substantial. These airy puffs of sweetness leaves you flat on substance. For me, Crispy Cream ranks the same. They weren't lacking for customers. The drive-in was three deep so I opted to go in. This is the best customer service I've ever had and I was thinking it can't get any better. Then I bit into my donut and oh my, its like biting into a sweet soft fluffy cloud. I've had Hurts & Voodoo donuts and they are nowhere close to as good as The Donut Palace!!
