“This is a weekly staple during the work week, fast service and great food! The staff is incredibly friendly and make each visit great and keep us coming back!“

“This Mexican restaurant has been located here for years and one is most always able to get a seat and be served quickly. Maybe not most always, maybe always. Lots of room here and a huge bar area. Wonder if they still have a band playing on one night a week?? Oops, I digress.
Today I tried this wonderful entree which was three to a plate birrias tacos loaded with a delicious brisket steak, melted white cheese, and onions. Served with a sauce that matches any good chef’s stock I’ve ever had. I asked the server what it was when I saw it on the menu and he said, “Very good.” So I ordered it.
If you’re wondering what a birria is, I looked it up.
“Modern birria is typically made with beef -- it has a rich, familiar taste that blends perfectly with the traditional flavors of the spicy, umami-forward adobo and consomé. Beef also softens wonderfully when you slow cook it, and it shreds nicely, making it ideal for use in tacos.”

“Staff is doing the best they can. At the end of the day it is still just Taco Bell. The food and the staff are consistent to all the other locations that I usually visit.

Parking: Self-contained store with its own parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: Standard Taco Bell setup. So plenty of space for children.

“My husband and I arrived at Taco and Tamale Co in the Heights as we were scouting for places to eat and ended up sitting at the bar for amazing service. The restaurant was packed, yet we still received excellent service. We placed a to go order for our main course food and had cheese dip and chips during the wait. Very nice environment. Friendly people. The food was delicious. I had the 12 tamale meal. I will definately be back. I'm so glad we discovered this place.“

“Yesterday afternoon my husband and I came in and the hospitality was amazing!! First my husband tripped outside and the waitress and waiters were on it came to help immediately!! We had just left Carti and he was very weak from a treatment. The meal was awesome and the waiter we had was first class!! “Great food....I ordered the smoked chicken tortilla soup and it was awesome. It was very crowded so I sat at the bar. Service was sort of slow as the bartenders catered to regulars. I also ordered a pork burrito with rice and beans. It was just ok. Large but just ok.“
