Was there Saturday, July 27th. Had the chopped pork plate with Cole slaw and potato salad. The pork was outstanding and a very generous portion. The sides also good. Only one waitress and she was doing a fabulous job of keeping everyone served. Have never been disappointed coming here. One of the best bbq places in central Arkansas.

Food use to be great. Seasoning isnt as on point. The chicken is not made the same on their amazing nachos they once had.

Had the special of the day: chicken & dumplings and it was excellent. Server was on point and attentive. Atmosphere is a bit plain, unoriginal and parsimonious but it's still just fine.

I picked up the BBQ salad, and it was great. But I felt so sorry for the ladies working the register and pick up window. They were overwhelmed and undertrained to the point of being ridiculous. If I had not come inside to see what they were going through, I would have been an irate customer. The girl was literally in tears. The owner or managers of this place should be ashamed.

I haven't visited here in over 10 years, so I jumped at the chance to go again. Same decor and laid back atmosphere. I ordered the jumbo chopped pork sandwich (slaw and mild sauce included) with a side of okra. I couldn't eat the entire tasty sandwich, but we ate all of the hot, delicious okra. My partner ordered the lunch platter of 2 ribs, 2 slices of beef brisket and 2 smoked sausages sliced to eat. Nope, we couldn't eat all of it either. We did eat all of the slaw and baked beans that came with the platter.our witressCara was quick with the refills and with lunch suggestions. We won't wait 10 years to go again.

Good food. Good service. My wife told me "I think about their club sandwich far more than I'd like to admit." Now I know why, that club sandwich is the way a club sandwich should be. They grill the meat and put it on a hoagie bun instead of that little toast we are all used to.

Hell, I'll drive from Colorado to Arkansas just for the club sandwich!

Went to Pig'N Chik BBQ for the first time last week, I ordered the hubcap burger and fries, it was beyond delicious, the staff were nice, friendly and helpful, they made us feel welcome, I enjoyed the visit and looking forward to the next visit next week.

I started going here because The Meat Shop closed down. I’ve only been a few times and it’s been ok, but I probably won’t be back. The reason being was the service. It started out as what I’d expect, but when we finished eating we had to wait a bit to get our to go boxes and check. I could have forgiven this because maybe they were just busy, that’s ok. What I didn’t like is paying at the table with the card reader and the waitress hovering over me watching me enter the tip amount. Then, when the tip wasn’t what she thought she deserved, she walks away pissed off and shaking her head.

I don’t tip based off the cost of the bill. I tip basically the same every time no matter where I go unless you really go above and beyond, which she did not. She was nice enough all the way up until she watched me punch in that tip amount. It’s just comical that the expectation in the restaurant industry is that the customer is the one that’s expected to pay the staffs bills. The inflated tip percentages that they give you to choose from does not reflect the service that you received.

I ordered slice roast beef they brought me chopped I I couldn't eat it anyway years ago this used to be a great restaurant not anymore don't throw your money away like I did couldn't eat food and the service was bad too terrible,bad service and bad food equals going out of business!?
