Applebee's Grill + Bar

Lamar was extremely kind. Honestly he was funny and friendly and nice and helpful the whole time. My kids enjoyed their meal and he made them laugh. We don’t go to chain restaurants too much but my kids and I really enjoyed this.

Love Applebees 2 for 25.00 Bourbon chicken
Hubby had Chicken Alfredo so efficient. Lamar was the nicest waiter professional and handsome to boot my hubby even told him I thought he was. He needs a raise he does his job exceptionally. Place was clean keep up the great work.

Our server Serenity, was great, nice, knowledgeable, patient, and very efficient. Food was good too! We ordered the two for $25, but upgraded it to an 8oz steak, and a Butter Pecan Blondie Cake, which was delicious!
The only thing that surprised me was the upcharge of $7 for each plate, I thought it was only for one.

I WAS SERVED RAW CHICKEN AND THEN CHARGED FOR THE MEAL!!!

Me and my party of 6 total visited this Applebees on 10/31/25. First off the service was slow and the restaurant was dead, possibly 4 To 5 other tables. Our waitress forgot something every single time she came back to our table. She also seems very put out to have to do her job. When my meal specifically arrived at the table my chicken was RAW on one side and the middle. And not like “oh that’s a little pink”, no RAW like it had just come out of the package. We informed the manager who seemed to be rather upset, she took my plate and never returned again. It took 30 minutes to get my cooked chicken, so of corse the 5 other people at our table had already finished their meals. When the check arrived things got better, oh wait no they didn’t, I was charged for my food after being served RAW CHICKEN!!! So, again waiting for our sever to come back, we request the meal be comped. It was, but again the manager never came back to our table. Luckily I didn’t not get severely ill, but I didn’t have stomach issues for several days.

Now part 2, my wife reported this concern through the Appelbees website. Now to their credit they did contact her the very next day. And spoke with her, we were offered a free meal. So, in conclusion please double check your chicken or just take your money to any of the other restaurant options, because there are plenty, in this area. Applebee’s used to be one of my favorite places to go, but it’s truly went down hill these past couple years.
