Super tasty food and great service. The birria ramen is an incredible synthesis of Asian and Latino cuisine. Have loved everything that I've had here. Check it out!

Great atmosphere. Went for special occasion and it couldn’t have been more inviting space. Staff was fun, lovely and helpful. Pic: Waffle Fry Birria & peach margarita = excelente!!

I visited this place while on a work trip. It is set in the old part of town, which is really neat with all of the old brickwork type buildings and lamp posts. Takes you back to a different time. When you come in to the restaurant, though, you are transported forward in time to a modern, Mexican restaurant. At first I was skeptical of the food, being I live only 35 miles from the border in California.
I ordered the 3 taco plate with Chorizo as my choice of meat. The plate came out piping hot, and with a very generous portion. The tacos were stuffed full, along with a hearty and flavorful refried beans. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied and stuffed.

My wife that the carne asada street tacos and I had the burrito. Both were great! We loved the chips and salsa.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We had a confirmed reservation for 20 people for a birthday and arrived to find the restaurant CLOSED with no prior notice. Planning a group this size takes time and coordination, and the lack of communication was extremely frustrating. There was a paper on the door that said “closed for staff Christmas party” but no one had reached out in advance and we were left with 20 people finding another place to eat.
We had a confirmed reservation for 20 people for a friend’s birthday and arrived on time, only to find the restaurant completely closed. No call, no email, no notice of any kind. Coordinating a group this size takes effort, and this ruined the evening plans. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I would not recommend booking events or large reservations here.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The food and drinks were amazing and the service we received from our waitress, Veronica, was absolutely phenomenal! This was our first time here but we will definitely be back! Thank you so much for such a great experience! A+A+A+

Had a great waiter and the food was delicious.
Very good addition to Emma Street! Micheladas are the best we’ve had, and we are from Houston, TX! Birria tacos were legit. Guacamole was outstanding (lots of lime and cilantro!).
Service is horrible here… brought my visiting family for dinner and waited over 20 mins before someone came to take our order. Not the first time it’s happened either. I’ve visited twice before and it’s the same type of service. Was really hoping this time would be different.
