After only one time eating here I’d say, in my opinion, this is hands down the best Mexican place in NWA. Best queso I’ve had! Best salsa! Rice and chicken flavors were incredible. And the service was super fast and friendly. Definitely would recommend!

Loved the food. The service. The atmosphere. My waitress was very attentive and food came out on time. The drinks La Picosa and El Cantarito were both refreshing and delicious, as well as all the entrees and sweets we ordered after.
A group of 6 gathered at Casa Alejo on a Friday evening for appetizers and dinner and we were so pleased with the food, portion sizes and price. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this restaurant. I’d heard it was wonderful & it did not disappoint. We had the quesabirria, arrachera & cheese dip with chorizo. Fantastic! Large portions, quick service & good food. Can’t beat it.
The Quesabirria, Arrachera, and Arroz Alejo with grilled jalapeños are must-tries. Don't miss out on their spicy salsa, or request extra heat if needed. Shoutout to our attentive waitress and manager, Julio. This food is worth a cross-state road trip from Texas to Arkansas!

Absolutely delicious. I had the quessabirria tacos and the goat was extremely fresh, tender, and juicy. The consumme was packed with flavor and richness, the salsa picosa was a great addition with a very nice spice level and fruitiness. The chips and salsa were a great addition for free that I did not expect as a lot of places don’t do that anymore. The rice was fluffy and the vegetables in it were a tasty addition. The beans just melt in your mouth and were also packed with flavor. I don’t know if I can get mexican anywhere else now because this place is just that good. If you are in the springdale or NWA area it is so worth the visit! Also worth mentioning I met the owners at my job one night and they are very kind, passionate people! Keep up the good work everyone!

Another great Mexican restaurant we will return to. Recommended to us by a friend we journeyed to Springdale to check it out…….loved it. Let’s break down the score1. Food Quality - 5 Stars. Temperature was great, loved the poblano sauce, bacon wrapped shrimp……oh yeah!!!. Guac was fresh and lots of it.2. Ambiance - 5 Stars. Was a 40 min wait for a table so we went to the bar and that was awesome. There is a portion of the bar that is up higher than the servers walking around so it’s easy to engage with the staff. Loved it. Smaller place but love the open rafters and slight industrial look.3. Service - though we had one server there was a team of employees making sure we had what we needed. Loved the teamwork and support they gave to each other.Can’t give the restroom bonus as I didn’t use it, but loved watching the team be on top of the cleanliness. Had a good dining experience. Highly recommend going.Parking: It’s on the Main Street so may need to drive a little past the restaurant to get to open parking.
